She carries herself with a soft, careful mouth, embodying her sweet and sensitive spirit. Mabel would flourish in a peaceful home where she can become the devoted and elegant pup we know she can become. Since Mabel tends to be on the skittish and shy side we think she would do best in an adult only home or a single person house. She would prefer a quiet house that does not have people coming in and out frequently. I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog Adoption:1Okra is a 1-year-old, 59-pound poodle mix with a personality that shines. She’s smart, gentle, affectionate, energetic, and absolutely irresistible. With her floppy ears and adorable face, she oozes total doodly charm! She knows basic cues like sit and paw, takes treats gently, and loves squeaky toys almost as much as she loves cuddles. Okra walks beautifully on leash, though she may bark at other dogs. She can be a little nervous around them, and is still learning how best to interact. She might thrive as a solo pup, or perhaps with a well-matched canine friend.  This sweet girl is full of fun and love.
