Say hello to Sammy! This sweet medium-sized Golden Retriever/ Poodle mix (Doodle) recently came into our care and is now settling into a loving foster home where we'll get to know her personality, quirks, and all the things that make her one-of-a-kind. What we do know is that Sammy is very family - and everybody friendly, she is very loyal and bonds quickly and thrives with a canine companion by her side. If you have plenty of time to spend with your dogs, and room in your heart for a fluffy, lovable girl, Sammy just might be a perfect match. She is affectionate and loving, moderately active and happy to go out walking, romping, hiking, but also is a happy lounge-muffin seeking to curl up close to her favorite person. Meet Frederick! Frederick is a sweet and friendly 43-lb Standard Poodle looking for his forever home! This handsome boy has a big heart, and came to us from Merced County. Aside from that, his past is a bit of a mystery, but his bright eyes and eager personality tell us he has so much potential. Frederick is a smart cookie and food-motivated! He would thrive in a home committed to ongoing training, as he has all the tools to be a fantastic student. Poodles are known for their intelligence, and Frederick is no exception. He does still have some energy to work through and can get jumpy, so he would do best in a home with no children or dog-savvy kids aged 13 and older. Meet Gladys 💞 Gladys is a 2yr old, 48lb Doodle. Gladys is a super sweet girl with a TON on energy. Gladys looooves her people and would like nothing more than to shadow you all day. With that being said, she does not have any separation anxiety. Gladys gets along with all dogs and wants to play, she’s a little intimidating to the smaller dogs cause she doesn’t know her size and energy level. Gladys walks ok on a leash and would benefit from the “Gentle Leader” leash. One thing about Gladys, she is ALWAYS up for the next adventure. Gladys is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and up to date on her rabies vaccine. Stetson is a shy and gentle giant - at 80 pounds, but he is a mellow fellow in general, but also still needing to come out of his shell. At this point he is wanting to take things slowly. He doesn't love the kennel environment or fast changes or rushed introductions. He needs to feel comfortable and have a chance to observe and feel safe. He does have a soft and affectionate side that is coming out, he is basically insecure not having had the best early stage in his life it seems. But this boy is a diamond in the rough and should continue to flourish. We are hoping for a foster home or adopter soon!
