Story
Meet Freddie our sweet one year old poodle mix. He weighs 15 pounds full grown. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all his vaccines. The vet sent him home with a clean bill of health and is now ready to find a home all his own. He is house trained and goes outside to do his business every couple hours when needed. Inside the home, he's pretty independent and keeps to himself unless you're calling him over for some love and attention. He's not the type to demand affection, but he absolutely soaks it up when it's offered. He is still getting the hang of walking on a leash and building confidence as his previous life as a breeder dog didn't include many outings, so everything is still a little unfamiliar to him but he's making steady progress. He enjoys spending quiet time out in the yard and will happily hang out on his own, especially if he's not quite ready to come inside. He's a bit of a hide and seek pro when he wants to be. Every day he gets a little braver, a little more curious, and a little more confident. He currently sleeps in his crate peacefully at night but I'm sure he would love his own bed next to yours if you prefer. He sleeps soundly through the night and settles in easily when you need to step out. What he needs now is someone with patients and a gentle heart, someone who understands that love and trust take time to grow. He'd thrive in a calm, nurturing home where he can continue building confidence at his own pace. His adoption fee is $1500 which covers all vet costs, care and training since the time he's been with us. Once a frog and now a prince. Ralphie is an older puppie who is learning what it takes to reach his potential. He is hopeful that someone will give him the love he deserves and the patience it will require for him to get there. He is studying to be a confident and joyful boy. He loves my doodle and follows his lead with daily adventures. He is learning to trust, and working on potty training. It is a lot to figure out but we are getting there. This handsome guy is incredibly solid with both people and dogs, making him an easy addition to many different types of homes. Murphy truly shines in playgroup. He loves romping around with higher-energy dogs who are ready for a good time, but he’s also wonderfully adaptable and respectful with calmer canine friends. He reads the room well and adjusts his energy accordingly — a rare and awesome trait! With people, Murphy is friendly, confident, and ready to be part of the action. Whether it’s outdoor adventures, playtime in the yard, or just hanging out at home, he’s happy to be wherever his humans are.
