Martini may need some time to adjust to her new home. She sometimes chases cats, so she may do best in a home without feline friends. Martini can be pushy and overbearing when meeting new dogs, so she’ll need slow, proper introductions and thoughtful management. She has lived with children as young as 2, but doesn’t always understand her size and may accidentally knock little ones over. She is crate and potty trained though may have accidents when left alone. She will need supervision when outside. She’s looking for a home committed to continuing to teach her good manners while keeping her active and engaged.

Story
Lily came to us as a sweet girl that was in a neglectful and possibly abusive situation. She is still the sweetest girl and has come out of her shell so much. She can be very timid and anxious so I think she would fit best in a home without young kids. We have four kids and another dog and she was amazing with all of them, but it’s obvious to us that she needs a more chill setting. That doesn’t mean she’s lazy! Lily needs a home with room to run, or somewhere she will get lots of exercise with her humans. She is about 2.5 years old and is all legs! She loves to cuddle but she also needs to run around. Lily is on a special dog food which we have six - 30lbs(ish) bags of that will come with her. We put her on a sensitive diet food when we got her and she just loves it, so we’ve never switched.

🌸 🦋 Meet Blanca! Blanca is a beautiful Schnoodle mix around a year old with the sweetest personality. She can be shy when first meeting someone, but give her some time to feel comfortable and you’ll be rewarded with plenty of kisses and requests for pets! Blanca is dog friendly and loves playing with other dogs. Because Blanca can become nervous with sudden or unpredictable movements and may growl when she feels unsure, she’ll do best in a home with no small children. She could with children 13+ who can understand and respect her space. Blanca sleeps in her crate all night without a sound. She knows how to use the dog door. She LOVES the adults in her foster home and follows them around. Blanca is also still learning her leash skills, and because she can be shy and unsure in new situations, she’ll need a home with a fenced-in backyard where she can safely get outside while she continues building her confidence and working on leash training. With a patient family, a secure yard, and a four-legged friend by her side, Blanca has so much potential to blossom! 🌼🤍 🌼🤍

Merlin is a 65 pound standard poodle and he is about 7 years old. He is such a great pet and I hate to have to give him up, but I am in college now and am just too busy to take care of him and give him the attention he needs. He used to be my psychiatric service dog and is very smart and well-behaved and socialized. He hasn’t had any formal training in about 2 years as life just got too busy, but I am certain he would respond to any training well. He has some anxiety issues with being alone due to a previous owner’s neglect so it’s best if he has a companion, especially another dog. Otherwise, he is amazing and super well behaved.

“Give me time, give me treats, and I’ll give you my whole heart.” Hi, I’m Iris! I’m a sweet girl with a whole lot of love to give. Once I know you and feel comfortable, I’ll trust you with all my heart. My favorite place to be is right beside my people, whether we’re snuggling on the couch or heading out on an adventure together. I can be a little nervous when meeting new people, so I need someone who is willing to let me take things at my own pace. If I feel overwhelmed or pushed past my comfort zone, I may bark or lunge. But with patience, consistency, and positive experiences, I can learn that new people aren’t so scary. And if you really want to become my best friend? Bring treats! Food is definitely the way to my heart. General Socialization Notes: I’m crate trained and obedience trained, and I know lots of cues! I can sit, down, recall, place, stay, and heel. I am also good for grooming, I’ll jump right into the bath, and I’ll stand on the table for blow drying and a haircut. My previous owner also taught me to turn on cue so she can get my other side while I’m being groomed! I’m generally a good girl on leash, although I can occasionally get excited and pull. I’m looking for someone who will continue helping me build confidence and feel more comfortable around new people. Does Iris like other animals? I do well with other dogs, but I’ll need slow, thoughtful introductions so everyone can make sure we’re a good match. I would do best with dogs around my size or larger, or I’d be perfectly happy being your one-and-only pet. Does Iris like children? When it comes to children, I’d do best with older children who understand how to respect my space and give me time to feel comfortable. Children 12 years and older may be best. Favorite Toys: My favorite toys are soft, fluffy toys, but my absolute favorite is my sheepskin tug toy. I love tugging, and I’m pretty proud to say I can even fetch it and drop it! Ideal Forever Home: I would feel best in a home that understands that I need time to feel comfortable around new people, to let me meet people at my own pace. I look forward to training! I also need a home without small children. I can live with another dog or be by myself. I can't wait to meet my new family!!

He’s a scared dog who needs a firm, experienced owner to help him feel secure and establish boundaries. Sprocket has had training sessions and responds well to clear, consistent leadership. Once he knows you’re in charge, he’s much more relaxed and doesn’t push back. However, he does react to new people and should wear a muzzle during initial introductions for safety. Despite his challenges, Sprocket has no health issues and thrives on affection from his trusted person. He enjoys being cuddled and will show his sweet side once he’s built trust.
