This fur baby is Benny. He is approximately 2 years old. He was found running around in a parking lot. I’ve had him for about 2 months now. He is potty trained, he loves kids and gets along really well with other dogs. He loves playing and chewing things (loves a good old chew bone and treats). He is heartworm positive but he is currently on treatment. He has 2 vaccinations left to be done with treatment. Shelter pays for it but I pay for the medication which last time was $36 dollars. I am looking to re-home him because i found out that he was not going to get treatment unless he was adopted and knowing that I couldn’t leave him, unfortunately I have recently signed up for school and I will not be home for most of the day. He needs someone who can take care of him and spends the quality time he deserves. If you think he is the right fit for you, I would love to know more about it!

This 2-year-old Bernedoodle has still not found a family that will love him enough, and we just can't understand why.  Sammie can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give him just a few minutes and his sweet, affectionate personality shines through. Once he trusts you, he’s a loving companion who simply wants to be by your side. With women, we have been told he may be a little too "loving" and/or protective, so this time around we are looking for a home where a strong male role model will be the primary person spending time with him. Although Sammie has lived with other dogs, we feel that he would do best as an only dog in a quieter home.  Bonus: Sammie has gone through a 4-week board and train program and his adoption includes a take home training lesson with FDF Canine Services in Parrish, FL. This will help his new family build on the wonderful foundation he already has and make his transition into his forever home as smooth as possible. No small kids please, but Sammie seems to be ok with cats. Sammie is available for adoption through 4luckydogs.org. Nico, embark says 50% lab 50% poodle, rescue from a hoarding case, a girl I know started training him for SAR, he’s familiar with live find area search and cadaver, beginning stages only, works for a stuffy toy. However, did not pass environmentals, doesn’t like cars or bikes or things moving fast around him. I would recommend no kids and breed experience with his quirks.
