Today we responded to a Florida family who reached out for help with their mama Lab/Poodle mix (1.7 yrs old) and her three 7 month old puppies. Thanks to our amazing volunteer Rizka, we were able to coordinate an early-morning pickup and get this sweet family safely to our incredible veterinary partners at Pavilion Crossing Animal Hospital. All four are currently being examined and are receiving:  • &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 All Vaccinations and Rabies  • &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Fecals & deworming for everyone  • &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Wellness  exams and scheduled spay/neuter appointments Meet the crew:  • Cinnamon – 38 lbs, brown female puppy ( foster secured!)  • Mama – 58 lbs, gentle and deserving of a soft landing  • Kratos – male pup, 60 lbs  • Gatorade – male pup, 63 lbs None of these dogs were living in the home or walked on a leash, so they will need patience, love, and understanding as they adjust to life as cherished family members. With the right support, they are going to blossom. We still need help! Mama and the two male pups (Kratos & Gatorade) are still in need of fosters or pre-adopters and will be available for pickup TODAY from 5–6 PM at Pavilion Crossing Animal Hospital in Riverview. Hi, I’m Jeff! I’m a fiveyearold Standard Poodle weighing 68 pounds of personality. I’m a playful, affectionate guy who loves being close to my people, handing out kisses and soaking up attention. I’m looking for a forever home where I can be the center of someone’s world and until then, I’d be a wonderful guest if you’re open to fostering me! Favorite Things: Jeff is a cheese enthusiast and adores spending time with his favorite humans. Toys aren’t his top priority, but he’s goofy, clever and loves to interact; sometimes even playfully mouthing your hand. Training & Manners: Jeff is housetrained when let out regularly and sleeps soundly in a secure area at night. He’s still learning leash skills and polishing basic manners, so a patient adopter who enjoys guiding a smart dog will be a great fit. He rides calmly in the car and his foodmotivation makes training rewarding. Health & Care: Jeff is heartworm positive and has a mast cell tumor on his neck that will be removed by our veterinary partners. During treatment, he’ll need calm routines and short leash walks. His adoption fee covers the cost of care. He is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations. Following his heartworm treatment, he’ll need monthly flea and heartworm preventatives, like any dog. Jeff will need regular brushing and professional grooming to look and feel his best. Other Animals: Jeff bonds deeply with his favorite people so he’ll need to be the only pet in the home. Children: Jeff does not have experience with children at this point Ideal Home: Jeff will do best in a singlefamily home with a secure, fenced yard. He’s happiest with someone who is home more often then not, as he loves companionship and may bark when left alone for long periods.
