Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Roxi! Roxi is a beautiful 1-year-old probable Standard Poodle weighing 48 pounds, and she’s ready to find her forever family! ❤️ This sweet girl truly offers the best of both worlds. She loves to play, run, and have fun, but when it’s time to relax, she’s more than happy to curl up beside you for cuddles. ✨ About Roxi: 1 year old Standard Poodle ⚖️ 48 pounds Doing great with potty training Crate trained Rides well in the car Gets along wonderfully with other dogs ❤️ Affectionate, friendly, and eager to please Roxi has had very few accidents in foster care, and any accidents have only occurred overnight on towels or pee pads that were left out, leading us to believe she may have previously been trained to use pee pads. Otherwise, she’s been doing fantastic! Although she hasn’t had her own crate in foster care, she repeatedly sought out and relaxed in the resident puppy’s crate, showing she’s very comfortable and familiar with crate life. She has been wonderful with dogs of all ages and energy levels. Roxi spent countless hours playing with a young Heeler puppy while respectfully giving space to the resident senior Pit Bull and Labradoodle. She seems to have an excellent understanding of other dogs’ boundaries. We haven’t tested her with cats, but Roxi is incredibly friendly and easygoing, and we suspect she would do well with proper introductions. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who can keep up with your adventures and then snuggle up on the couch afterward, Roxi may be the perfect match! He’s a good boy, loving, playful. He is scared easily… I think he was abused by the pet shop we got him from or by the people who breaded him. He also doesn’t like loud sounds or people yelling at each other

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Biscuit is a sweet and energetic 9-week-old male Labradoodle mix puppy looking for his forever home. With his soft, fluffy coat and endless cuteness, Biscuit is sure to capture your heart from the moment you meet him. Biscuit is playful, curious, affectionate, and attention-seeking. He enjoys cuddling up in a person’s lap or being petted. Biscuit would make a wonderful addition to your family having so much enthusiasm for life. He gets along well with other dogs so can be a second dog in the household or be the only dog. He is still very young, so he will need a family willing to help him learn the basics, such as house training and manners, with patience and positive reinforcement. Biscuit is eager to please and responds enthusiastically to gentle guidance. Toys and Chews: Anything that squeaks or rolls instantly captures Biscuit’s attention. He loves plush animals, especially the ones bigger than his. Teething is a new adventure, so puppy-safe chews are a necessity as he explores the world through his mouth. Biscuit has a very short attention span because he’s a typical puppy. He starts playing with one toy then suddenly sees a different toy or sees something else going on and forgets about the toy he was playing with. Napping: When Biscuit decides he is done playing he takes a short nap wherever he is including the nearest dog bed or on the floor next to a person sitting at a computer. Heads up – he does snore a little! Outdoor Explorations: Outside in the yard becomes an exciting outing as Biscuit sniffs every blade of grass and dirt. Occasionally, he’ll try to eat a leaf but will stop when foster mom says “no”. Feet: He likes showing his affection with gentle, playful nibbles on toes. And watch out not to trip when you are walking because he is right there walking with you. Biscuit has separation anxiety when being left alone in the crate which causes loud barking and constant movement trying to get out. Being a puppy who gets into everything (fyi - he loves electrical cords) he needs to be kept in a crate for his safety when no one is home. Biscuit has had a lot of recent changes such as no longer being with his siblings. Hopefully at a permanent house he should start to feel more secure and become more comfortable in the crate, but that will take time so 4LD is recommending his new family live in a single family house (no adjacent walls).  Due to being a puppy Biscuit was never exposed to walking on a leash therefore the adopter will need to help him become relaxed with a collar and leash on. Biscuit likes going potties outside in the yard and will go when he is let out. He is also pee pad trained – if he sees a pad he will use it. But he will sometimes go potties in the house since he is still learning how to hold it for periods of time. The foster family is proud of the progress he is making with potty-training and with his new family keeping up with the same instructions and routine he will easily become fully housebroken.  Biscuit will need to have the remainder of his shots that are required for puppies. He also needs to be neutered before the adoption can be considered as final, which follows the rescue organization’s guidelines. The adoption fee covers puppy shots, rabies shot, dewormer, microchip, and neuter which will be completed over the next 3 months. He can go to his permanent home now, but the adopter must be willing to take Biscuit to one of the rescue veterinary clinics for the remainder of his vetting. Our facilities are in Riverview, St. Petersburg, and Sarasota so his new owner will need to live close to one of those locations (adopter’s choice) and plan to travel these a few different times. With rescue organizations the adoption is not considered complete until all the puppy vet needs are done so that is why he is considered as “pre-adopt”. --------------------- Biscuit’s adoption fee is $620. He is currently being fostered in the Plant City area. The average lifespan for this breed is 12 years. Therefore, Biscuit’s adopter will need to be prepared to care for him for that amount of time so he will not have to move to a different home. ***We are a foster-based rescue with no shelter or facility to view our dogs, and our address is a mailing address only. Please be patient as we are an all-volunteer rescue, and our rescue dogs are in various loving foster homes throughout West-Central Florida. As a general rule we try to limit our adoptions to within the state of FL. If interested in one of our dogs, please fill out an adoption application at www.4luckydogs.org, and we will contact you by phone/text if we feel your application is the best fit out of the ones received.***   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 2, 2026, 4:52 pm
