Story
Maple is a 1-year-old dog (turning one in February) looking for a loving new home. I adopted him as a baby, and he’s been a great companion. I’m relocating overseas soon, and between working a full-time 9-5 job, attending college, and managing social media commitments, i will no longer able to give him the time and stability he deserves. I want to make sure he goes to the right person or family. He is a good, friendly dog with a great temperament. Maple knows basic commands like paw, other paw, sit, down, stay, go to sleep, and eat. He does not bite, gets along well with other dogs, and is comfortable with grooming — he allows nail trimming and baths without much trouble. He would do best in a home where he gets attention, consistency, and regular activity. Maple is affectionate, social, and eager to learn, and he’ll make a great companion for someone ready to give him the time and care he deserves.

Story
Willow / Myakka City Available for adoption www.VIPRESCUE.org Breed: Standard Poodle Age: 2.5 yr DOB 1-13-2023 Sex: Female Weight: 50 lb Color: White Gets along with DOGS: Yes Gets along with Cats: No Kids: Respectful 13+ with dog experience Fenced Yard: Yes, 6 ft or higher secured fenced in yard is required. Meet Willow, a super friendly, 2 1/2 year old 50lb. girl that acts like your typical 2 year old standard poodle, active and on the go! Her ideal home would consist of active adults who can commit to several walks or a run, and games at least a couple times a day. We think Willow could do great at something like FastCat ( a timed 100 yard dash for dogs where they chase a lure down a straight course) or agility. We recommend that there be no young children, tiny dogs, or cats in the home because littles move quickly and startle her, and she’s also not aware of her size and can play a little rough. She’d love a committed family who is able to do more training with her. She is smart as a whip and has a ton of potential. Although friendly, she is a little skittish at first but does warm up and it will take a couple of days for her to get used to her new family and surroundings, so Willow’s new home must have the time and patience with her. Willow is great on a leash, and is always up for adventures. She has been taken to busy activities and does well. She also does well with other dogs medium size and larger. She’s doing well with training and knows sit, stay, come, fetch, hoop (jump through) and again, would benefit with some additional training both mentally and physically to help burn off some of her high energy. She loves to play outside, she gets the zoomies and loves to play with and in water. Willow’s new home is required to have at least a 6ft or higher secured fenced in yard, sorry, there are no exceptions, because this is what she needs due to her energy level and safety. Willow is very playful, however she does get fearful with strangers at first (barks and backs away) until she feels comfortable. One more thing to consider if you’re interested in adopting this fabulous gal, is the cost of grooming. She’ll require regular Grooming, which can be costly, so please keep that in mind as part of your budget. Willow is completely housebroken, spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and is on heartworm and flea prevention as well. So, what do you think? Do you have the time, patience and energy to keep up with our amazing Willow? If you’d like to add her to your family, please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. *** Willow is fostered in MYAKKA CITY, FL. You must travel to MYAKKA CITY to meet Willow and bring any other pets and residents you have for the meeting. If you would like more information on Willow, or to be considered for adoption, you must complete an adoption application at www.viprescue.org. Our volunteer will contact you once your application is approved. We are unable to respond to your emails and messages without you first completing an adoption application. **ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS** You must be a Florida resident and a homeowner, be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care.If you’ve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and number for each vet. This breed typically lives 12-15 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pets estimated lifespan. If you want more info or would like to meet Willow, please complete an adoption application at www.viprescue.org. All of us at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, with families, jobs and pets of our own, so please be kind and patient. We select the most fitting application for the dog, not necessarily the timeliest adoption application. Please make sure to read the entire bio on the pet you’re interested in before applying to adopt to make sure you meet the pets needs. VIP Rescue Inc. Is a registered 501c3 non-profit corporation in the state of Florida. Thank you for thinking rescue! www.viprescue.org Willow’s Adoption Donation is: $475.00 Thank you for thinking rescue. PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi there ☀️ I’m **Margret**, a 7-year-old Lab/Poodle mix with a permanent smile and a heart full of sunshine. If you’re looking for the perfect mix of *walking buddy* and *professional lounger*, I might just be your girl. I’m sweet, friendly, playful, and wonderfully laid back. I absolutely love going for walks — I can keep up and truly enjoy getting out and about. But once we’re home? You’ll likely find me stretched out in the sun, soaking up rays like it’s my full-time job. Sunbathing is one of my greatest talents. I’m: * Crate trained (I even go in on my own!) * Potty trained * Leash trained I understand “come” and “stay” (mostly 😉), and I’m working on polishing up commands like sit and lay down. I’m eager to keep learning with a little patience and consistency. My perfect day includes: A nice walk, some outdoor lounging time, a cozy nap, and — very importantly — a good hug with an armpit scratch. Yes, I said armpit scratch. It’s elite-tier affection, and I highly recommend you get on board. While I’m dog-friendly with big dogs, I can get a little overwhelmed and may snip if I’m feeling unsure. Because of that, I would likely thrive best as the **only dog in the home**, where I can relax and not feel overstimulated. With more time I may continue to adjust, but for now I’d love a calm environment where I can fully settle in. My ideal home would have: * A backyard (fenced is wonderful!) * The ability for me to lounge outside and sunbathe * Someone who enjoys both walks *and* couch time I’m truly an easygoing girl. I can keep up on adventures, but I’m just as happy being a couch potato by your side. I don’t need chaos — just consistency, comfort, and someone who appreciates a gentle, smiling companion. If you’re ready for a loyal, sunshine-loving best friend who will happily walk with you and then nap at your feet… I’m waiting. 🌼🐾 Adoption FEE: $450 which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi, I’m Mula! I’m a 6-year-old small/medium doodle, and I have the sweetest heart and a whole lot of love to give. ❤️ From the moment I came into my foster home, I’ve been nothing but affectionate, loyal, and happiest when I’m close to my people. I’m the kind of girl who loves to follow you from room to room, just so I can be near you. If you’re sitting down, I’ll happily curl up beside you and enjoy some good snuggles. 😊 I’m an explorer at heart—walks are one of my favorite things, especially when I get to sniff around and take in all the smells. I have great leash manners, so I’m a dream on walks! When you come home, you’ll get the best greeting ever—lots of tail wagging and kisses, because I’m so excited to see you again. I also love carrying my favorite toys around in my mouth, and I’ll proudly show them off to anyone who’ll listen! 🧸 I’m a calm, loving companion and can settle down for some quiet time when you’re relaxing, working, or watching TV. I’ve been working on crate training, and I’m doing really well, especially with a comforting nighttime routine. I feel safe when I know my humans are nearby, so I’m looking for someone who can help me build confidence when it comes to being alone. **My Ideal Home:** * I’d love to be in a home filled with love and companionship! I enjoy being part of the action, but I also appreciate some quiet time with my people. * A backyard would be great for me to run around and enjoy the outdoors, but I can adapt to most living situations as long as I get regular walks and attention. * I’d thrive with a family that has other pets, especially a dog sibling (big or small) to keep me company. I love being around others, and having a buddy would make me feel even more secure. **A Word from My Foster:** Mula is the sweetest, most loving girl! She’s affectionate and loyal to the core. She loves to be close to her people and always greets you with the warmest love. She’s a snooper at heart and enjoys exploring her surroundings, so give her a little time to get comfortable in her new home. Once she knows she’s safe and loved, she’s the most loyal companion you could ask for. 🐶 Mula is looking for a home that will provide her with consistency, comfort, and love. If you’re patient, kind, and ready to make her part of your family, she’s going to be the best friend you’ve ever had. She’ll be your shadow, your snuggle buddy, and your loyal companion for life. 💕 If you’re looking for a loving dog who will be by your side through thick and thin, Mula might be your perfect match. Let’s start our forever together! ✨ Adoption FEE: $450 which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals.
