Story
Our sweet Aspen was found in North Port roaming the streets but was thankfully saved by the Sarasota County Animal Services team. He his hair was so overgrown and matted, that he had to be shaved down entirely! But we're glad we did because he is feeling a lot better now! We think Aspen is about 2 1/2 years old. Unfortunately, when he was shaved down, we discovered a 5" thorn of some sort that was coming out both sides of one of his legs. The groomers also found several shorter thorns embedded in his body as well as scratches and even a small wound. This poor guy was clearly on his own for a while, but we're going to change all of that, and find him an amazing home to love and spoil him for the rest of his life! He can be a little bit nervous at first and doesn't really like a lot of sudden movements (but who can blame him, given his previous history), so we would not recommend that he go to a home with children under 12. He has been with other dogs and is indifferent, so he could be an only dog or go to a home with dogs currently. He will sit, especially when offered a treat. :) He appears to be housetrained as well. Aspen is now up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered, and is heartworm negative. He is fostered in Sarasota and his adoption fee is $400. If you are interested in learning more about him, please apply to adopt at https://www.love4pawsfl.org/adopt. Bennet thrives in calm environments with predictable routines and a safe spot to decompress. He LOVES toys and is the sweetest, most submissive boy. His fur is tightly curled and very poodle like, his body is as well. 🐾 Sirius – Male Black Goldendoodle Puppy (≈25-28 lbs) 🐾 Meet Sirius, a resilient little fighter and the black Goldendoodle puppy who stole our hearts! Born 07/25/25, Sirius is one of the only surviving puppies from his litter — a litter that fought for their lives just a couple months ago. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters and a lot of love in the ER, he’s now thriving and ready for his forever home. Sirius is full of fun, curiosity, and puppy energy. He loves other dogs and cats, but he must have at least one playful dog in his new home since he will be separated from his brother. He’s going to grow into a standard-size Goldendoodle (~60+ lbs), so he’s already learning the ropes of socializing and manners! Medical & Adoption Info: Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped Fostered in Brandon/Tampa, FL Adoption fee: $600 👉 Apply here: www.love4pawsfl.org/adopt

Story
This is Clara, our gorgeous.....Doodle? We know she must have Standard Poodle in her, but although some thought she might be a Goldendoodle, we are thinking she may be a Schnoodle! We are guessing that she is about 3.5 - 4 YO. Whatever she is, she's the total package! Poor Clara did not come from a great place. Apparently she "showed up" at someone's house and just never left. While we are happy that the family fed and housed her, she did not get groomed at all and came in very matted and basically, a hot mess! She had to be completely shaved down and although she doesn't necessarily look like a Doodle should, she is so much happier and feeling so much better! Clara is fostered with two other dogs and kids. She is housetrained and isn't even crated overnight or when the family is not home, making her the perfect house guest! She absolutely loves having the 2 and 4-legged family members. She loves her people A LOT so she will need to go to a home with at least one other dog, and preferably, where her people would be home a lot to always love on her! She previously lived with 1 other big dog and two Chihuahua mixes. Clara is up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and heartworm negative, which means she is ready to find her new home! She is fostered in Sarasota and her adoption fee is $400. If you are thinking about adding sweet Clara to your family, please complete an adoption application at https://www.love4pawsfl.org/adopt. If you have applied with Love4Paws previously, please send an email to Info@Love4PawsFL.org. No need to re-apply.

Please include your name and phone number for quickest response. Born: Nov 28, 2023 Microchipped Heartworm Negative Crate Trained Leash Trained Basic Commands Clever Champ is above and beyond in agility, intelligence and swiftness to learn. This pup needs an active lifestyle for both his mind and his body. A gentle boy. Affectionate. Responsive and respectful. Not a mean bone in his body, even when another dog takes his bone right out of his mouth! Champ is a leader, yet when he meets a new person he can be shy at first. We took him to Lowe's for an adventure. He was perfect! He pranced with his head up high, obeying every command. Knowing this dog has been a fantastic experience for each employee here.

Story
Willow / Myakka City Available for adoption www.VIPRESCUE.org Breed: Standard Poodle Age: 2.5 yr DOB 1-13-2023 Sex: Female Weight: 50 lb Color: White Gets along with DOGS: Yes Gets along with Cats: No Kids: Respectful 13+ with dog experience Fenced Yard: Yes, 6 ft or higher secured fenced in yard is required. Meet Willow, a super friendly, 2 1/2 year old 50lb. girl that acts like your typical 2 year old standard poodle, active and on the go! Her ideal home would consist of active adults who can commit to several walks or a run, and games at least a couple times a day. We think Willow could do great at something like FastCat ( a timed 100 yard dash for dogs where they chase a lure down a straight course) or agility. We recommend that there be no young children, tiny dogs, or cats in the home because littles move quickly and startle her, and she’s also not aware of her size and can play a little rough. She’d love a committed family who is able to do more training with her. She is smart as a whip and has a ton of potential. Although friendly, she is a little skittish at first but does warm up and it will take a couple of days for her to get used to her new family and surroundings, so Willow’s new home must have the time and patience with her. Willow is great on a leash, and is always up for adventures. She has been taken to busy activities and does well. She also does well with other dogs medium size and larger. She’s doing well with training and knows sit, stay, come, fetch, hoop (jump through) and again, would benefit with some additional training both mentally and physically to help burn off some of her high energy. She loves to play outside, she gets the zoomies and loves to play with and in water. Willow’s new home is required to have at least a 6ft or higher secured fenced in yard, sorry, there are no exceptions, because this is what she needs due to her energy level and safety. Willow is very playful, however she does get fearful with strangers at first (barks and backs away) until she feels comfortable. One more thing to consider if you’re interested in adopting this fabulous gal, is the cost of grooming. She’ll require regular Grooming, which can be costly, so please keep that in mind as part of your budget. Willow is completely housebroken, spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and is on heartworm and flea prevention as well. So, what do you think? Do you have the time, patience and energy to keep up with our amazing Willow? If you’d like to add her to your family, please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. *** Willow is fostered in MYAKKA CITY, FL. You must travel to MYAKKA CITY to meet Willow and bring any other pets and residents you have for the meeting. If you would like more information on Willow, or to be considered for adoption, you must complete an adoption application at www.viprescue.org. Our volunteer will contact you once your application is approved. We are unable to respond to your emails and messages without you first completing an adoption application. **ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS** You must be a Florida resident and a homeowner, be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care.If you’ve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and number for each vet. This breed typically lives 12-15 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pets estimated lifespan. If you want more info or would like to meet Willow, please complete an adoption application at www.viprescue.org. All of us at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, with families, jobs and pets of our own, so please be kind and patient. We select the most fitting application for the dog, not necessarily the timeliest adoption application.
