Story
Meet our beautiful bonded Standard Poodle sisters. They are purebred, five years old, and while not littermates, they have grown up together and must be adopted as a pair. They are inseparable playing, resting, and thriving side by side. We brought each home as puppies from top-quality breeders and invested over $5,000 per dog. More importantly, they have been raised with exceptional care, love, and attention. They are healthy, intelligent, affectionate, and emotionally intuitive. They love the water, chasing each other, and joyful outdoor play. This decision comes with heavy hearts. Our life has become wonderfully full with grandchildren and a thriving business, and these girls deserve more time, adventures, and daily engagement than we can currently give. This is about putting their needs first. We are seeking a loving, stable home that understands bonded dogs and values them as true family members. We are not rushing this process and will carefully select the right home.

Story
🌸 Meet Petunia 🌸 Petunia is a beautiful 1.5-year-old sweetheart weighing 49 lbs, and her journey has already been one of incredible growth. She came to us as part of a group of six dogs rescued from a hoarder/breeder situation. At first, the world felt big and a little scary — but Petunia wasted no time showing us just how resilient and loving she truly is. We believe Petunia is a mix between a Brittany and a Standard Poodle (our best guess!). She has a soft, beautiful coat and does lightly shed. As a reminder, most poodle mixes (“doodles”) are not truly hypoallergenic — so families with allergies should keep that in mind. In her foster home, she has absolutely blossomed. Just one month ago, Petunia had never walked on a leash — and now she struts beautifully on daily walks like she’s been doing it her whole life! She has also learned to be crate trained and housetrained. While housetraining is still a tiny bit of a work in progress, she’s nearly perfect and continues to improve every day. Petunia loves other dogs and truly thrives with canine companionship. She will need a dog friend in her forever home to help her continue building confidence and to share in playtime and snuggles. While we initially required a fenced yard for her, Petunia has proven just how adaptable she is — she’s currently fostered in an apartment with two other doodles and is doing fantastic with regular leash walks. A fenced yard would be a wonderful bonus, but it’s not a must for this adaptable girl. Petunia is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative — ready to start her next chapter with a family who will continue to guide her with love and patience. Her adoption fee is $350. 🌸 Meet Missy 🌸 Missy is a beautiful 1.5-year-old girl weighing 49 lbs, and she is the one most similar to her sister Petunia in both looks and personality. She came to us as part of a group of six rescued from a hoarder/breeder situation, and she has continued to show just how adaptable and sweet she truly is. We believe Missy is likely a mix of Brittany and Standard Poodle (our best guess!). She has a lovely, soft coat and an athletic, graceful build to match. Even though Missy is not in a foster home yet and is currently staying in kennels with access to a yard space, she has done wonderfully. She keeps her space clean with no accidents and has done great walking on a leash. She is smart, eager, and ready to continue learning in a home environment. Missy loves other dogs and would thrive with a canine companion in her forever home. She has a gentle, affectionate nature and will make a loyal, devoted addition to a family willing to continue guiding her as she transitions from kennel life to home life. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative — ready for her fresh start. She is in Sarasota. Adoption fee: $350 Apply at: www.love4pawsfl.org/adopt If you’re looking for a sweet, athletic, and loving girl who is already showing wonderful house manners and leash skills, Missy may be your perfect match. 💕

Story
🌼 Meet Molly 🌼 Molly is a stunning 1.5-year-old girl weighing 73 lbs, and she is truly coming into her own. Rescued as part of a group of six from a hoarder/breeder situation, Molly has made beautiful progress and is now showing everyone what a fun, loving companion she can be. We believe Molly may be a Labradoodle (a mix of Labrador Retriever and Poodle) or possibly a blend of Brittany and Standard Poodle — that’s our best guess! She has a gorgeous wavy coat, long legs, and an athletic, playful build. Molly is playful, affectionate, and loves being part of the action. One of our favorite things? She now comes running when called — happily trotting over with excitement to see her people. Watching her confidence grow has been such a joy. She absolutely needs another dog in her forever home, as she thrives with canine companionship and loves to play. A secure fenced yard is also required so she can stretch her legs and continue building confidence. Because she can still be startled by sudden movements or doors left open, we are recommending no young children in the home — just to set her up for long-term success. Molly is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative — and ready for her forever family. 📍 Located in Sarasota Adoption fee: $350 Apply at: www.love4pawsfl.org/adopt If you’re looking for a playful, loyal, and loving girl who will happily run to you when called, Molly might just be your perfect match. 💛

Story
Willow / Myakka City Available for adoption www.VIPRESCUE.org Breed: Standard Poodle Age: 2.5 yr DOB 1-13-2023 Sex: Female Weight: 50 lb Color: White Gets along with DOGS: Yes Gets along with Cats: No Kids: Respectful 13+ with dog experience Fenced Yard: Yes, 6 ft or higher secured fenced in yard is required. Meet Willow, a super friendly, 2 1/2 year old 50lb. girl that acts like your typical 2 year old standard poodle, active and on the go! Her ideal home would consist of active adults who can commit to several walks or a run, and games at least a couple times a day. We think Willow could do great at something like FastCat ( a timed 100 yard dash for dogs where they chase a lure down a straight course) or agility. We recommend that there be no young children, tiny dogs, or cats in the home because littles move quickly and startle her, and she’s also not aware of her size and can play a little rough. She’d love a committed family who is able to do more training with her. She is smart as a whip and has a ton of potential. Although friendly, she is a little skittish at first but does warm up and it will take a couple of days for her to get used to her new family and surroundings, so Willow’s new home must have the time and patience with her. Willow is great on a leash, and is always up for adventures. She has been taken to busy activities and does well. She also does well with other dogs medium size and larger. She’s doing well with training and knows sit, stay, come, fetch, hoop (jump through) and again, would benefit with some additional training both mentally and physically to help burn off some of her high energy. She loves to play outside, she gets the zoomies and loves to play with and in water. Willow’s new home is required to have at least a 6ft or higher secured fenced in yard, sorry, there are no exceptions, because this is what she needs due to her energy level and safety. Willow is very playful, however she does get fearful with strangers at first (barks and backs away) until she feels comfortable. One more thing to consider if you’re interested in adopting this fabulous gal, is the cost of grooming. She’ll require regular Grooming, which can be costly, so please keep that in mind as part of your budget. Willow is completely housebroken, spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and is on heartworm and flea prevention as well. So, what do you think? Do you have the time, patience and energy to keep up with our amazing Willow? If you’d like to add her to your family, please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. *** Willow is fostered in MYAKKA CITY, FL. You must travel to MYAKKA CITY to meet Willow and bring any other pets and residents you have for the meeting. If you would like more information on Willow, or to be considered for adoption, you must complete an adoption application at www.viprescue.org.
