If you sit down, don't be surprised if Sonny is right there beside you—he absolutely loves being close to his people and will happily follow you from room to room just to be near you. ❤️ Sonny is just under 50# and has done wonderfully in his foster home and has not needed a crate. He's been left home alone without any issues. Like many young, intelligent dogs, if he's feeling bored while people are home, he may decide to entertain himself by "redecorating" things like papers, cardboard boxes, or even a dog bed. 😅 Providing plenty of chew toys, enrichment activities, and exercise helps keep this smart boy happy. Speaking of toys... Sonny LOVES his chew toys! 🦴 He also loves to wrestle and play with his canine friends. He's done great with other medium and large dogs, both male and female, and would likely enjoy having a playful companion in his forever home. 🐕 On walks, Sonny is a good boy! He walks nicely on leash when he's with other dogs, enjoying the pack atmosphere. When he's out by himself, he can get a little excited and may pull, so he'll benefit from continued leash training and consistency. 🍽️ Sonny is also a big fan of mealtime! He loves to eat and currently enjoys two meals a day—one in the morning and one in the evening. Beyond his good looks, Sonny is simply the sweetest boy. Hi my name is Tillie! I'm estimated at about 4 years old, weigh about 14 lbs and appear to be a doodle (can not be guaranteed). I was surrendered with a small group of other dogs and we are now looking for our forever homes. I am quiet and a little shy, but not aggressive at all. It appears we were used for breeding and we are so looking forward to having the life little dogs like us deserve with a real family and real love. I just really don’t know what is expected of me- the trainer here says I need to “learn to be a dog”. I will need help with potty and leash training- it wasn’t important before. I am dog friendly, so maybe having a fur sibling will help me learn?My $550 adoption fee includes vet exam, up to date vaccinations, spay, dental cleaning/work (desperately needed!), deworming, heartworm test (negative), and microchip. 🎀 Quinn 🎀 ⚠️ PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING – SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Quinn is a 5.5-year-old, ~50 lb red Goldendoodle who came from a breeder situation where she lived outdoors and had very little exposure to normal home life. She has made incredible progress and is now a happy, affectionate, and playful dog in her foster home. At home, Quinn is easy, loving, and well-behaved. She loves other dogs, plays in the yard, and is happiest cuddled up next to her canine friends or following her person from room to room. Once she bonds, she bonds deeply. However, Quinn is still very shy and easily overwhelmed in new environments. She is fearful in public and can be a flight risk if not properly secured. She will need a confident, experienced adopter who understands how to keep nervous dogs safe and is physically able to handle/lift her if needed. Quinn will also need time to build trust—multiple meet-and-greets will be required prior to adoption. She is not a dog who can go home on the first visit. She has a manageable medical routine (special diet, Pepcid, and probiotics) for mild reflux, which is well controlled.
