Meet Archie, an adorable and goofy 25lb, 5-year-old male, who is guessed to be a Poodle/Schnauzer type mix. He was found as a stray and sadly went unclaimed. He was adopted from animal control, but unfortunately the other dog in the home did not like him, so they surrendered Archie to us. Archie is playful and loves going on walks, sniffing around, and being with people. He has been stressed here, so he has not been a fan of the crate but did well with being crated prior in the home. Archie is looking for a patient home to allow him to decompress and relax, so he can show his sweet, silly personality! He would do best in a home with no young children or cats. We are still working on dog introductions, but so far, he has done okay with other friendly dogs similar in size.

Bella is a very sweet 10 yr old Poodle/Chihuahua mix. Her owner passed away and she moved in with the son but his 4 children were just too much for Bella. She would wish for a quieter home and is used to a fenced in yard so we will require one. Bella is house trained and very sweet. She would do best with another small dog in the home as she is very active. We will accept applications at pawshs.org/adoption/Please submit an application at pawshs.org and NOT a Petfinder inquiry as they may not be answered due to the volume of these inquiries received. Our adoption fees include the cost of spaying/neutering, vaccinations (including rabies for cats / dogs over 4 months of age), flea prevention, worming, FeLV/FIV testing, heartworm test for dogs over 1 yrs old, and microchipping. Fuzzy is a 1 yr old Miniature Poodle. He is a friendly guy who must have an escape-proof SECURE FENCED IN YARD or he will run. No exceptions- and we will check the yard before adoption. We are not looking for a senior adopter for this young and energetic dog.
