Hello, my name is Luna Star. I'm called by my full name when I'm focused on something like a squirrel or someone walking by, other than that I'm Luna. I'm a beautiful 4-year-old. DOB 1/12/24. I weigh about 50 pounds. My collar, leashes, toys, 2 cots, kennel,& food bowls come with me. I'm so smart, I know a little German, I know all the basic commands,& a few others. I love food, treats, getting praise from pets, scratches, cuddles, playing with my sister, getting wet in ponds, going for walks around the neighborhood,& walking trails. I even like getting groomed. In Apr. I'm getting my ovaries taken out to make me completely spayed. Mom's vehicle broke Apr. 2023 & lost her job. She loves me so much, she wants me to have the care I need. Come meet me. My mom's name is Diana Sayler 816.854.9970 text is best.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Renee (renees@tarasdream.org) for more information about this pet. Please visit our web site at https://tarasdream.org/adopt to fill out an adoption application for this pet and for more info about our adoption process.  Jona is a typical happy-go-lucky, adventurous  puppy learning all about the big world. He's warm, scruffy and fun to cuddle. Jona is a smart and delightful boy. He's learning to kennel and working diligently on house training. He loves being outside with the human and foster canines. He gets to explore the neighborhood on leash walks and does a great job walking next to the human. He plays well with others and is learning boundaries for the older canines in the foster family. Jona wants to please and is easily redirected to an appropriate toy or activity. He is learning all about the game fetch but prefers to be chased. Jona is fun and ready to bond with a loving and patient (still has things to learn) family. DNA results on two of his siblings showed the same predominant breeds, Standard Poodle (26.0%), Labrador Retriever (19.8%) and Great Pyrenees (17.5%). Approximate Birthdate:  12/5/2023 Adoption Fee: $200 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL. Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.     For more information please fill out an application.     CONTACT INFO The Animal Rescue Alliance (TARA) Web site: tarasdream.org Adoption Information & Applications: https://tarasdream.org/adopt Upcoming Adoption Events: https://tarasdream.org/events Email: email@tarasdream.org April 18, 2024, 9:44 pm

Story
Just like her name suggests, Joya is an absolute JOY! She loves everyone she meets, loves to play, and loves to snuggle! Joya spends most of her day sleeping and LOVES to snuggle. She'll just sit on your lap and rest her head on you and be perfectly content to stay there. Joya is 8, but you'd never know it. She loves to play with squeaky toys (any toys, really!), and loves playing with other dogs (however would be best with dogs over 20 pounds) She walks great on a leash, loves going for car rides, and is well potty trained-she'll rub on you like a cat when she wants to go.

Story
Ariel is such a wonderful dog. She is 5 years old, 65 pounds, is super smart (knows how to sit on command, etc), is very active, and requires a lot of exercise/walks. She doesn't like to play with toys very much, although sometimes she just carries a small toy around in her mouth but doesn't necessarily play with it. Otherwise she ignores all toys. However, she loves chews like rawhide and/or rawhide-free alternatives, bones, etc. Ariel has been attending daycare at Home Sweet Home East for 6 months and loves it there. I adopted her in July of last year, so I have had her about 6 months now. Please note: Ariel needs to be in a cat-free, dog-free, child-free home. She has been having behavioral issues toward my cats and is very stressed, and I am having trouble getting everyone to live in harmony at my house. Although it breaks my heart, I wonder if she would be so much happier and less stressed if she lived in a home without cats. She would need to be the only dog in a household.
