Story
Introducing Mitzi,A nervous girl who may take a meeting or two to show you her playful, goofy, happy personality! She loves to get the zoomies in the yard (Especially if you say `Go, go, go!` to hype her up!) Will dramatically flop at your feet for belly rubs, and she loves to use her long nose to throw your hand onto her head for some ear rubbies! Mitzi is a gentle soul who gets scared with loud/ fast movements, but once shes confident around you she`s glued to your hip in typical poodle mix fashion!Mitzi`s ideal home is one with adult cats (She has a prey drive towards kittens)! As for other dogs, Mitzi has been uncomfortable with other dogs here at KVHS. She likes her space and goes into avoidant behaviors (Tail tuck, turning away, sniffing ground) when faced with other dogs. We think she`d do okay in a home without other dogs or EXTREMELY dog savvy dogs (Ones who will give her space/ stay out of her face) As for children, she`d do well in a home with children over the age of 10 due to her inital shyness.Interested in meeting Mitzi? Swing on down to KVHS during available adoption hours to meet her!

Story
Marley Girl is a happy, outgoing  8 year old Aussie Doodle with a heart full of love and lots of years and life left to share. This young senior girl is looking for a new home through no fault of her own because her natural herding instincts have taken over and she is chasing the chickens at her former home.  Apparently eggs are more important than sweet Marley.   This girl at 8 years is not too big and just 45 pounds and has lived with another dog during her life and also cats.  Chickens are different for dogs and so she is looking for a new place to live.  Marley is is fully house trained and potty trained, She loves riding in a car and enjoys watching the scenery go by as she rides shotgun. While Marley has a few years behind her she has so many more ahead of her. Her infectious smile only guarantees that you will be her beloved family that she will adore as an easy companion dog.  This girl is all about being a loyal, family-friendly companion who is past the puppy stage but still ready for more years of adventures, cuddles and making memories, Marley may be the perfect match for you. if you are a senior or a younger person that just wants a mellow dog to love.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested.     PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comSeptember 9, 2026, 12:39 pm

Story
Walter is a loving, loyal dog with a big personality. He loves being with his people, whether he’s playing outside, going for walks, or curling up on the couch for a snuggle. He’s energetic, affectionate, and always wants to be part of the family. Walter can be anxious in new situations and has a bit of a cantankerous side, so he does best with patient owners who understand his boundaries and can provide consistency and reassurance. Once he feels comfortable, his sweet, goofy, and devoted personality shines through. Walter is overall a wonderful dog with so much love to give. We’re looking for a home that will appreciate his unique personality and give him the time, patience, and affection he deserves. In return, he’ll be a loyal companion and a loving member of the family.
