Story
Wilfred is a wonderful dog ! He is adorable, smart and motivated to learn. He knows basic commands including sit, down, stay and leave it, and he walks well on a leash. Wilfy adores people; he will wiggle his whole body in excitement when you come home, will happily cuddle up with you in bed, and is quick to ask for a belly rub. Wilfred was advertised by the rescue we adopted him from as being great with cats. He is in fact highly motivated to chase cats, and should not live with them. Wilfy would do well paired with a dog who matched his energy and play drive, but would probably best shine as an only dog. He would love to have fenced land to run on. Wilfy is 45 lbs. Meet Ebony — a one-of-a-kind beauty with a heart just as special as her look! This 1-year-old, 35-pound Poodle/Hound mix has the coolest soft, wiry coat in shades of black and gray and a personality that will win you over in no time. Ebony is the perfect mix of playful and calm. She loves to run and play with other dogs, so a home with a canine buddy would be ideal for her. But once playtime is over, she’s all about the cuddles, pets, and being told what a good girl she is! She’s doing great with house training when kept on a schedule, is crate trained (though she’d prefer not to spend too much time there), and walks pretty well on a leash. Around the home, she’s relaxed and easy to have around—just happy to be near her people. Ebony can be a little shy when meeting new people, but don’t let that fool you—she warms up quickly, especially if treats are involved! Because of her gentle nature, she would do best in a home where someone is around often and where she has a fenced yard to safely stretch her legs and play.
