Story
Nellie is a 4 year old golden doodle with a heart of gold. She loves people, snuggles, and being the center of attention. She is very smart and quick to join in any game. She is still very much a puppy around other dogs, she is high energy and likes to play. She has always been great with our kids, and has always been in a home with children. Recently we had an incident involving one of our children that resulted in her biting them. The child wasn't giving her the space that she needed, but we can't risk a bite happening again. This was a very big shock to us, because we haven't had any other incidents like this before, and she is such a big part of our daily life. We just do not have the time or financial resources to give her all that she deserves. While she did bite, it wasn't something that is typical to her behavior. We would love for her to be with a family who can give her all that she deserves and more. She is a treasure of a dog!
