Jona is an adventurous puppy learning all about the big world. He's warm, scruffy and loves to take up half the couch with his head in your lap so he can get all the head scratches and belly rubs. Jona is a smart and delightful boy. He's kenneled for up to 3 to 4 hours at a time while the human leaves the house for work and errands. Jona whines to go outside to potty and has not had an accident in the house for two weeks! He loves being outside with the human and foster canines. He plays well with all shapes and sizes of canines and knows to respect the boundaries for the older canines in the foster family . Jona loves car rides, exploring the neighborhood sights and smells on leash walks and does a great job walking next to the human. He is drawn to children and meeting new people. Jona wants to please and is easily redirected to an appropriate toy or activity. He is learning all about the game fetch but prefers to be chased. He knows simple commands like: sit, off, let's walk, stop, leave it, corner, bedtime, and kennel up. Jona is a happy boy and ready to bond with a fun-loving, active and understanding (still has things to learn) family. DNA results on two of his siblings showed the same predominant breeds, Standard Poodle (26.0%), Labrador Retriever (19.8%) and Great Pyrenees (17.5%).
