Moose, D. of B. 2-26-20, was surrendered to my rescue because the adults worked a lot of hours and Moose was in his crate 22 out of 24 hours a day and they want him to have a home with more freedom outside of the crate. He is a sweet boy, a tad needy, but loving and sweet. It only took him one day to settle down and go in and out for us and want petted. He is eating good, house trained but needs to be let out often so he can learn the routine and know where the door is to go out. Once he comes out of his crate in the morning he needs to go out very quickly to avoid an accident. The first day he was here and in the back yard, he barked at us for the first couple of hours and wouldn't come in, but he finally did come in on his own. Today, the second day, he acts like he has been her forever. He slept quietly in crate last night and he eaten two good meals. He doesn't seem to miss his old life. Right now he laying just to my right on a rug. Moose will make a wonderful companion to the right family. He is a big boy but he seems fairly gentle. 13 months old (BD March 11, 2023). Brown brindle poodle. Got him as a puppy from owner. Found they could not have a puppy around elder dog. Does doggie daycare twice a week to socialize him with other dogs. He loves it. Plays fetch. Will retrieve and bring objects back to you. Throw a ball in the air and he will catch it in his mouth. Loving. Likes to place his head in your lap. Likes to be rubbed, especially around the ears. Loves to run; energetic. Will settle on his mat for a treat or to chew a nylabone. Understands commands such as leave it, settle, sit and no. Had two training sessions. Will heel with coaxing and further practice. Loves exploring. Will throw items in the air with his mouth. Beware of breakables. Found his favorite toy is lightweight dryer balls. Mischievous. He is hyper and excited when he meets new people. Kevin likes being outdoors and needs physical activity such as running.

Bella, date of birth-7-28-22, is a darling white and silver pup, sweet personality and very gentle. She loves her food, comes when called and mostly house trained, if you let her out often and sleeps quietly in her crate all night. She came from an amish breeder, lived outside within a fenced area with building. Amish consider their breeding dogs stock, like pigs or cows. She wasn't mis-treated, kept shave short and really just existed with the other dogs. She has had at least one litter. She was very shy and leery and a tad afraid when she got here, but after being treated with gentle love, good food and some gentle training, she is a happy girl. If you are lucky enough to adopt this pup into your home, you will have to treat here like the above and give her plenty of time to bond with you. It will be best to go outside with her on a leash and walk with her to do her business until she understands she is home and safe and loved. If you can't do this, she is not the Poodle for you.
