Story
Rosie Sunshine, D of B-3-14-2026, is a sweet and friendly, loves to play in her baby pool outside. Follows her foster mom around the house. She is about 90% house trained, needs to go out often. She loves her meals, loves attention and is learning to walk on a leash. She is crate trained so will sleep in her crate and go in willingly for a treat. She is a typical St. Poodle puppy, too smart for her own good... If you are interested in giving Rosie a loving home, please e-mail heartofamerica99@aol.com and tell me about you, your home and family, yard, other pets and why you want a St. Poodle puppy. St. Poodles need to be groomed about every 6 weeks, Their eyes and butts need to be clean.

Story
Hi, my name is Emmy and I will b 4 on May 25th. 2026. My mom, who adored me, became very ill and can no longer care for me. so she asked Poodle rescue to find me a good home. When I first got here, I was a little shy, but bonded with my foster mom quickly. It took me longer to bond with my human foster brother, and I would bark at him when he came up the stairs. Now I am used to him and I like him. I hate the crate so I sleep in my foster mom's room, on a soft rug. I slept all night the very first night. If you get up in the night I will too, but then I go right back to sleep. I know what "go lay down" means. The first few days or even the first week my foster mom had to go outside with me to potty but I am doing better and I will go out with my foster mom's poodles. She said I had separation anxiety, but after two weeks of being here I am much better. I need a home where their is someone home most of the time. Someone who works from home, or has just retired. I need a home where my family is patient and understanding that it takes me a couple of weeks or more to get used to my new home routine. I am doing great in my foster home after only two weeks. I grew up with high school kids and have not been around small children. I love to eat my meals and I love treats. I almost always come when called, but I definitely need a fenced yard to go potty in. I will not pee or poop on a leash. If you think you would be a good forever home for me, please ask for an application and I will send you one in your e-mail. My adoption fee is $400.00 Serious inquiries only.

Story
If you’ve ever wanted your very own magical companion straight out of a Studio Ghibli film, meet Soot Sprite! Just like her enchanted namesakes in Spirited Away, this jet-black pup is a bundle of pure energy, endlessly entertaining, and guaranteed to bring a touch of magic to your home. She is a certified class clown who loves to zoom around, tumble with her toys, and make everyone laugh with her goofy antics. She absolutely loves other pups and is ready to find a playful dog sibling or make plenty of friends at the park. Instead of feeding her star candy, you'll just need to provide plenty of puppy kibble, basic training, and a whole lot of love. She does very well with her housetraining so just a little routine and she'll be good to go. She does super well with enrichment games and chew bones. If you are ready to embrace the fun, love, and a little bit of puppy mischief, ask a staff member about meeting Soot Sprite today!

Story
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE A FOSTER BASED RESCUE IN TX. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY NOT IN YOUR STATE BUT WILL BE TRANSPORTED ONCE ADOPTED VIA VAN. OUR APP CAN BE FOUND AT haydudeequine.org Hi, I'm Coconut! 🥥 I'm a one-year-old, 45-pound doodle mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for my people. If you're looking for a dog who believes life is better when we're together, I think we should meet! My favorite place in the world? Right next to you...or even better, on your lap! I'm a total cuddle bug, I give amazing hugs, and if you move from one room to another, don't worry—I was planning on going there too. I just really love being with my humans. I'm pretty laid back most of the time, but I also enjoy getting outside, going for walks (I'm a good girl on a leash!), and I've recently discovered how much fun it is to play with other dogs. My buddy Buddy has been teaching me that wrestling and zoomies are pretty awesome, so I'd love a home with another friendly dog to hang out with. I also have a little secret...I'm more athletic than I look! Apparently I've been watching the deer, because I figured out how to jump a fence just like they do. So I'll need a home with a tall, secure fence and people who will keep an eye on me when I'm outside. Let's talk about food...I LOVE it! Don't worry, I'm not food aggressive at all—I just get a little too excited when it's mealtime. I even eat from a puzzle bowl because I think every meal should come with a fun challenge. I think I'd be happy with respectful kids, an active family, and people who want me to be part of their everyday life. I'm not looking to be a backyard dog—I want to be where my family is. I'll happily be your walking buddy, your couch buddy, your errand buddy...basically your everything buddy. One more thing. People sometimes get excited because I'm a doodle mix, but I hope my forever family chooses me because of who I am, not just what I look like. I'm loyal, affectionate, goofy, and ready to love my people with my whole heart. If you're looking for a best friend who gives great hugs, loves adventures, and will never let you feel alone, I think we might just be the perfect match. Love, Coconut 🥥❤️

Story
Meet Endora – A Gentle Girl with a Love for Soft Things 📍 Located in Troy, MO 💻 Applications at leiashope.org Endora is a little lady learning what it's like to live in freedom after spending her early life in a puppy mill. She’s shy at first, but once she warms up, she politely asks for affection and enjoys quiet companionship. Her foster has established a mealtime routine that works perfectly for her—when she hears the call, Endora happily runs upstairs to the bedroom where her bowl is placed just inside the door. This quiet, uninterrupted space is where she feels most comfortable eating. She has a healthy appetite, is a good eater, and is currently on Puppy Fromm. She eats twice a day, with a little extra to support her growing puppy needs. Endora is a big fan of soft comforts—she loves her open-door kennel filled with fluffy blankets and can often be found lounging in cozy dog beds. After spending her early life on a hard kennel floor, she’s finally learning what comfort feels like. She gets along well with other dogs and is watching them closely to learn how to play and enjoy toys. With a little more time and encouragement, she’ll be joining in on the fun! 📝 Requirements: Secure physical fenced yard Another young, confident dog in the home No children under 12 Mill dogs like Endora are under-socialized and easily startled by things we take for granted—leashes, television sounds, garbage trucks, kitchen appliances, etc. She will need a patient and understanding home willing to help her continue adjusting at her own pace. 🐾 Endora is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and on monthly flea and heartworm prevention. 💲 Adoption fee: $500 📍 Located in Troy, MO 💻 Applications at leiashope.org Please Note: Leia’s Hope is a volunteer-run rescue. Application processing takes 7–10 business days depending on our availability and your references. All dogs are in foster homes—there is no central facility. Meet and greets are scheduled only after an approved application. We do not ship or transport. Adopters must travel to the dog’s location, and all family members and current pets must be present. Dogs are a lifetime commitment. Puppies, in particular, may live 15+ years. If you're not prepared to commit to that, please do not apply. Puppies under 9 months must go to a home where someone is frequently home, can provide proper training and socialization, and keep up with their energy and needs.
