Hi, I’m Arlo, and I’m just about as sweet and snuggly as they come! I’m a darling little puppy with a big heart, a playful spirit, and a serious talent for cuddling. In fact, I’m kind of a master cuddler. I love snuggling into your arms, being close to my people, and soaking up all the love I can get. I’m a puppy mill survivor, so new situations and new people can still feel a little scary to me at first. I may be shy or nervous when I’m unsure, but once I feel safe and comfortable, my fun, spunky, playful personality starts to shine. I’m full of sweetness, curiosity, and puppy charm. I do well with other dogs and kids. I met a cat at the vet and was curious, but I haven’t spent much time around cats yet. With gentle introductions, I may do just fine. I’m crate trained and working hard on all the puppy basics. I’m still learning leash skills and potty training, and I’m progressing just as expected for a puppy. I’m also doing well with “sit” and coming when called, and I’m working on other commands too. When I’m not cuddling, I love chewing on my toys, playing fetch, running around the yard, and having fun like a typical puppy. Soft, crinkly toys I can chew on are some of my favorites. I prefer soft food over hard food, but I’ll eat either. My ideal family will understand that I’m still learning about the world and will give me patience, kindness, structure, and plenty of love. I’ll need continued help with training, potty habits, confidence, and all the things puppies need to become their very best selves.
