Story
Vinny is an adorable 1yr 7mo, 75lb german shepherd poodle. He is very smart, loves to cuddle, and play. All he wants is your attention and love. Vinny loves to play or chew and really enjoys training. He is so much fun and the cutest guy you will meet! Vinny is crate trained and good on a leash. He struggles to be friendly with other dogs, and introductions are especially difficult. He will warn (growling and stiffening) unfamiliar dogs, though in several cases has also warmed up. It is clear that he lacked appropriate early socialization and exhibits some fear and anxiety. He can be overstimulated/fearful outside the home and skittish to strangers approaching him. He should be the only dog in the home, and would benefit from some continued behavioral support. We adopted Vinny in Oct 2024 to be friends with our older dog, which hasn’t worked out. He became aggressive toward Vinny and we ended up separating them within our home and engaging behavioral specialists.

Story
We got Tater from someone about an hour away at 8 weeks old. Tater is 2.5 years old. I want him to have a home more equipped for dogs such as someone who is home more often, a large fenced in yard and can keep an eye on him. When he is bored he will chew things. He is very playful, knows at least 5 basic commands. He is very trainable. He needs groomed every six weeks.

Story
ArloMaleD.O.B: 1/23/26Estimated Full Grown Weight: 28-35lbsBreed: Cavapoo Hi, I’m Arlo, and I’m just about as sweet and snuggly as they come! I’m a darling little puppy with a big heart, a playful spirit, and a serious talent for cuddling. In fact, I’m kind of a master cuddler. I love snuggling into your arms, being close to my people, and soaking up all the love I can get. I’m a puppy mill survivor, so new situations and new people can still feel a little scary to me at first. I may be shy or nervous when I’m unsure, but once I feel safe and comfortable, my fun, spunky, playful personality starts to shine. I’m full of sweetness, curiosity, and puppy charm. I do well with other dogs and kids. I met a cat at the vet and was curious, but I haven’t spent much time around cats yet. With gentle introductions, I may do just fine. I’m crate trained and working hard on all the puppy basics. I’m still learning leash skills and potty training, and I’m progressing just as expected for a puppy. I’m also doing well with “sit” and coming when called, and I’m working on other commands too. When I’m not cuddling, I love chewing on my toys, playing fetch, running around the yard, and having fun like a typical puppy. Soft, crinkly toys I can chew on are some of my favorites. I prefer soft food over hard food, but I’ll eat either. My ideal family will understand that I’m still learning about the world and will give me patience, kindness, structure, and plenty of love. I’ll need continued help with training, potty habits, confidence, and all the things puppies need to become their very best selves. If you’re looking for a sweet, spunky cuddle bug who will snuggle into your arms and fill your home with puppy love, I might be your guy. Oh, and I am a sponsor dog! That means my adoption fees go to help pay some of the medical expenses for the other dogs in need so they can find their forever homes too. If you are interested in meeting Arlo, apply to adopt him at www.causeforcanines.org Adoption fee: $495. Must be an Ohio resident & 23 or older. Children must be 5 or older. ##2735611##
