Rizzo is available for adoption! FEMALE | 5 YEARS | 28 LBS | POODLE MIX Rizzo is a sweet and affectionate girl that absolutely adores attention and being near her humans as much as possible. She can be a little bit shy at first when meeting new people and tends to stick close to the humans that she trusts until she is confident and then quickly warms up to the new person. When she is comfortable with people, she can be bouncy and excitable and likes to jump up on people to say hello – but she is working on learning to have better manners when greeting her friends. Rizzo loves going on walks and likes to take in all of the sights and smells along the way. She is not on a mission to get anywhere quickly and serves as an excellent reminder to slow down and enjoy the moment. With proper introductions, Rizzo does warm up to other dogs and wants to play. She is less thrilled about kitty cats and finds them to be quite scary. She is doing very well with her potty training and has a perfect record so far! She also does well in a crate and is happy to lay in her bed or play quietly with her toys during the day. Rizzo would love a nice quiet home of her own with a human to love and cuddle with and a nice soft bed to lay her head on.

Meet beautiful LULU, she is a 7 month old pure breed Standard Parti-Poodle.  She weighs 34 pounds and expected to be at least 50 pounds as an adult.  As a standard poodle she will be tall. She is white and light brown. LULU is such a sweet and calm dog who is really low maintenance on a daily basis.  She loves playing with the other dogs in my home and her best buddies and 2 tiny chihuahua's. She is housetrained, potty trained and crate trained and totally trusted in the house while I am gone.  She is counter curious and will steal food that is left where she can reach it.  I have stairs and she has yet to climb them to follow us. Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.This doodle is CHRISSY, she is about 1 1/2 years old and 44 pounds but underweight.  She has a good appetite and should gain the weight she needs pretty quickly.  She is active but knows how to calm down and rest when I am resting or on my laptop.  She really likes to hang around me but does not cause a stir if I put her in her area while I am dealing with the other dogs. CHRISSY gets along with all of the dogs in my home and I mostly have small breeds here right now.  I do not have any cats in my home so I am not sure how she would do with them.  She seems to mind her own business and follows directions pretty well. She can be a little bit apprehensive on the leash when you first get started but after about 2-3 minutes she will walk next to you you.  She does not get car sick.  She did great getting groomed and her coat is mostly curly when grown out. She was matted when I got her so I had to have her shaved down.  But it'll grow out fast in no time.  She will probably need to be groomed every 8 weeks. CHRISSY does not really play with the smaller dogs but she watches them and she has not picked up a toy.  She likes treats, bully sticks though.  There is no aggression in her in any area and she is a good companion.  She does like to run zoomies in the yards. Roman wants a family to call his own, he'll likely want to live in a detached house so he can run and bark at the squirrels, but if you live in a semi, a townhome or a condo, just make sure you will have a solid plan to keep him settled so his barking does not annoy your neighbours. If you were going to take some training with him, either group classes or one on one lessons, that would be great! We know Roman is going to love having an even stronger bond with you and nothing creates a strong bond like training together!

While we don't know the exact mill he came from, we do know he was born, and lived his whole life, inside a barn with little to no human contact.
