Story
Loli is the sweetest little girl who has found herself looking for a new home through no fault of her own. Her mom became ill and could no longer care for her, and now this precious pup is ready for a fresh start and a family who will cherish her. If you're looking for a gentle, easygoing little companion, Loli may be your perfect match. At just 10 lbs, she is the definition of low-key and lovable. She is incredibly sweet, friendly, affectionate, and simply wants to be wherever her people are. She enjoys the company of other dogs and can be playful with them, but she's equally happy relaxing quietly by your side. And then there's Loli's unexpected love of WATER! She didn't need anyone to put her in the pool-she marched right in on her own because apparently this tiny Maltipoo has decided she's a water dog! Loli is house trained, crate trained, walks nicely on leash, rides well in the car, isn't destructive, and we haven't heard her bark. She doesn't need a yard and would do wonderfully in an apartment or with someone looking for a calm, loving companion. She may be 8 years old, but Loli still has plenty of playful spirit and so much love to give. Her biggest requirement? Simply being close to her people. This little girl has already lost the home she knew. Now she deserves someone who will make sure she never feels lost again. Medical Notes: A vet recently checked a small lump that was felt on her back near her spine and confirmed that it is a fatty cyst. It has been noted in her veterinary records. Story
Doc Holiday came from an elderly owner who lived in a hotel, where he wasn't always kept safely contained. As a result, the transition into foster care took some time. He also needed time for his hormones to settle after being neutered, but once he adjusted, his true personality began to shine. Today, Doc is an absolute sweetheart. He lives happily with multiple dogs, enjoys a good play session, and is just as content curling up beside his favourite person for snuggles. One of his most adorable habits is rolling onto his back and making the funniest little talking noises-it never fails to make everyone smile! Doc does experience some separation anxiety, but it has improved dramatically with consistency and routine. He'll thrive with a patient family who understands that he's already made tremendous progress. If you're looking for a loyal, entertaining, affectionate companion with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Doc Holiday is ready to steal the show-and your heart. Crate size recommended: 36" Good with adults: Yes Good with kids: Yes, prefers older children Good with other dogs: Yes Good with cats: Yes House trained: Yes, though he may occasionally mark, but it's infrequent. Crate trained: He isn't a fan of the crate, but he is fed in it daily. He can be quite vocal at first when crated but settles down with time. Energy level: Medium Can be handled/touched: Yes, he loves attention and affection Barker: More of a "talker" than a barker! Doc has a funny way of chatting with his people and expressing himself. Flight risk: Yes, he should always be kept securely contained or on a leash Food aggressive: No Current food: Purina One with Blue Buffalo canned food Walks on leash: Yes Leash reactive to people or dogs: None observed, though he hasn't had extensive leash-walking experience Rides well in car: Yes Destructive: No Needs a home with a yard: Preferred Needs a home with another dog: Not required Can live in an apartment: No Please visit our website niagaradogrescue.com to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.

QUICK FACTS Name: Puha Age: About 4 Years Old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Standard Poodle Color: Ivory Weight: 23kg / 50.7lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from an illegal breeding facility in 2024, where I had been living in extremely poor conditions without even basic necessities like electricity. Thankfully, kind rescuers stepped in and gave me the chance to leave that difficult life behind. Since then, I've been learning what it feels like to be safe, comfortable, and cared for. Now I'm looking forward to finding a loving forever family and beginning a brighter new chapter filled with warmth, happiness, and love.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I'm Puha! I'm a big, handsome Standard Poodle with a wonderfully outgoing personality and a heart that seems to have endless room for people. From the very first day I arrived, I acted as though I'd already been part of the family—walking around to see what everyone was doing, introducing myself, and happily joining in wherever something interesting was happening. I'm naturally curious, social, and always eager to be included, so you can usually find me right in the middle of whatever my humans are up to. If I had to choose between dogs and people, I'd choose my people every time. I get along very well with other dogs and can happily spend time and play with them, but my attention always seems to come back to the people nearby. I'll play with whichever dogs happen to be around you, and if you move somewhere else, there's a very good chance I'll abandon the party and follow right behind! If you're busy doing something and suddenly hear a familiar set of happy footsteps beside you, don't be surprised when you turn around and find me there! I simply love being wherever my people are. I'm the kind of dog who doesn't want to watch life from the sidelines—I want to experience it right alongside you. With my affectionate nature, social confidence, and genuinely good heart, everyone believes I'm the kind of dog who could be loved wherever I go. Now I'm just waiting for the chance to trade shelter life for a home where I can finally have people of my very own to follow, adore, and share every day with.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I'm an affectionate and outgoing dog who loves being around people. Whether you're someone I already know or we're meeting for the first time, I'll happily come over, lean against you, and enjoy plenty of gentle pets. Once we become close, I may even roll over and show you my belly—a sweet sign that I'm feeling comfortable with you. I'm also comfortable being picked up with support under my belly. I haven't had the opportunity to meet children under 13 yet, so my behavior around young kids is simply unknown. · With Dogs: I'm a friendly and social dog who enjoys meeting other dogs, whether they're familiar friends or brand-new faces. I'll happily approach to say hello and often invite them to play. I'm also naturally peace-loving—if another dog tries to provoke me, I usually prefer to step away and avoid conflict rather than engage. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have high energy level – I really enjoy spending time outdoors, so regular exercise and opportunities to stay active are important for me. Once I've had enough time to burn off my energy, I'm happy to settle down and relax quietly at home. On walks, I can be enthusiastic and may pull on the leash, but I generally follow my person's lead well. With continued practice, consistency, and positive reinforcement, I can keep improving my leash manners and become an even better walking companion.   TRAINING & HABITS I don't show any resource guarding around food with either people or other dogs. I do enjoy being close to my people, and while I don't currently show significant separation anxiety, I may be prone to developing it, so gradually helping me build confidence with alone time will be important. When there's something I really want, I may use a little demand barking to get your attention. I may whine when I'm in a kennel, so continued positive kennel training and a consistent routine will help me become more comfortable settling on my own. I'm comfortable using both indoor pee pads and going potty outside. As a male dog, I may be inclined to mark when I'm introduced to a new environment, so a little extra supervision and guidance while I'm getting familiar with a new home will help me adjust successfully.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES I do enjoy being close to my people, and while I don't currently show significant separation anxiety, I may be prone to developing it, so gradually helping me build confidence with alone time will be important. I may be inclined to mark when I'm introduced to a new environment, so a little extra supervision and guidance while I'm getting familiar with a new home will help me adjust successfully.    PUHA'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2814048##

I'm a big, beautiful Standard Poodle with an even bigger love for people. From the very first day I arrived, I greeted complete strangers as if I'd finally been reunited with my favorite people in the whole world. Honestly, sometimes it seems like my favorite person might simply be whoever I'm meeting at that exact moment! I don't care whether you're a man or a woman—if you're human, there's a very good chance I've already decided we're friends. Once I know you're around, I love following you from place to place, staying close, leaning in for affection, and making myself part of whatever you're doing. I'm an outgoing, enthusiastic boy who thrives on human companionship, and I have plenty of happy energy to share. Despite my size and excitement, I've never shown aggression or inappropriate mouthing toward people. I'm also wonderfully gentle when taking treats, which shows that beneath all that enthusiasm is a very sweet and well-mannered boy. I generally don't pay much attention to other dogs because, quite simply, people are my priority! I can coexist with dog friends without much fuss, although I can get a little jealous when another dog is getting all the attention—I may whine nearby as if to remind you, “Excuse me, I'm right here!” More than anything, I'm an incredibly affectionate, social, and good-natured boy. If you're looking for a smart, energetic companion who will greet you like you've been gone for a year—even if you only stepped out of the room—I might just be your perfect match. Give me a place in your life, and I'll be more than happy to follow you through it.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I'm an affectionate and outgoing dog who loves being around people.
