Ava was surrendered to the shelter with her littermates, Luna#2, Zach, Ziggy & Zelda. They are some sort of Doodle mix born on 8/6/23. They are good with other dogs but have not been around cats. Ava is shy but was okay with handling and having her coat brushed with a grooming glove. Ava has a very pretty face, but her coat was in terrible shape so needed to be shaved by the groomer. She will be even more beautiful once her coat grows back in. Ava is about 6-7 months old and 29 pounds. Please help Ava find the loving home she deserves. ***You must provide a vet reference for a current or past pet you have/had.*** We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes. If you are interested in adopting, we encourage you to please submit an application on our website today so that we can try and process and pre-approve any potential adopters prior to our next adoption event. He is ALL ABOUT PEOPLE!   He is not a dog that is looking to join a family and be a playmate to another dog.  While he might play some….he just wants to be your shadow and your love.  He is housebroken, totally healthy, happy with a ready smile for everyone and good with all creatures he meets.  Polo needs to transition soon to a new family before he gets attached to the foster.   His heart and soul needs to be settled and reassured he will be loved and not bounced anymore. Fifi is a gorgeous, very social, black and white standard party poodle who was born 3/4/23. This sweet girl weighs about 40 pounds and is looking for a mom. She is great with other dogs and loves to play with her toys. Fifi is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, received a Proheart 6 shot and is also being kept on flea and tick prevention to maintain her good health. Her adoption donation is $1000 plus $165 transport fee. If you would like to adopt Fifi and shower her with all the love and affection she craves, the first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner.
