Polo is the standard Poodle that you have been looking for!   This boy is roughly 5-7 years old and weighs 50 pounds with a little that he could gain to fill out better.   Recently his owner passed away and he was on the way to being dropped off at the local county shelter when a kind woman stepped up and took him home.  Soon Critter Cavalry Rescue was called about Polo and asked to help him find a foster and a new home.  This dog is the best and most chill dog on the planet. He is ALL ABOUT PEOPLE!   He is not a dog that is looking to join a family and be a playmate to another dog.  While he might play some….he just wants to be your shadow and your love.  He is housebroken, totally healthy, happy with a ready smile for everyone and good with all creatures he meets.  Polo needs to transition soon to a new family before he gets attached to the foster.   His heart and soul needs to be settled and reassured he will be loved and not bounced anymore. Ava was surrendered to the shelter with her littermates, Luna#2, Zach, Ziggy & Zelda. They are some sort of Doodle mix born on 8/6/23. They are good with other dogs but have not been around cats. Ava is shy but was okay with handling and having her coat brushed with a grooming glove. Ava has a very pretty face, but her coat was in terrible shape so needed to be shaved by the groomer. She will be even more beautiful once her coat grows back in. Ava is about 6-7 months old and 29 pounds. Please help Ava find the loving home she deserves. ***You must provide a vet reference for a current or past pet you have/had.*** We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
