Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Sam, a 4-year-old sweetheart who’s fully potty trained, great with commands, and answers to his name. He’s the perfect mix of cuddly and playful — down for zoomies when you are, and just as happy to chill. Sam loves dogs, cats, and running at the dog park (and he’ll definitely let you know when he’s donezo). His coat is currently short after grooming, but he’s growing in a fresh, healthy coat now that his mattes are gone. Loved by everyone in the apartment complex, Sam is affectionate, easygoing, and ready for his forever home. Story
&#226&#173&#144 Meet Dash – He needs a new Best Friend! &#226&#173&#144   This boy is a registered Standard Poodle and was born May, 2024.  A boy that weighs in at 50 pounds and is outgoing and in need of someone who will give him attention and some extra polishing in the training department.  His owners work long hours and they are now having a baby and feel that he deserves a more attentive and less busy family.  He has been crated too much and for too many hours and deserves more fun time with a family or someone singularly.  A fenced yard is a must for his activity needs and the family must promise to really interact with him for playtime.  He doesn't like the crate but it is necessary at the moment or he gets in to the trash.  He loves to ride in the car but windows need to be UP or he might jump out.  He is definitely a dog that loves to run in the fenced yard and play with the other dogs.  He can certainly be an ONLY dog if needed but we know he is good with the foster dogs he is currently living with.  Dash has a strong love for his people and he is right there following them like a shadow in the home.  He is pretty much housebroken and that will improve as he gets the new routine down pat at the foster home.  He has a favorite person at the foster home and it is a 25 yr old young man who allows him to sleep on a dog bed at night in his bedroom.  This makes Dash so very happy.   Leash training is so so because of no practice and we know that practice and effort by a new owner will improve his skills.  He is trained on a few commands and can learn more if someone works with this smart breed.  All Dash wants is love and he will nudge your hand to encourage more pets on the head as he begs for more attention.   Dash needs a HOME...that is excited to have him to love, teach and to polish into a fine family companion.   We are looking for a home where someone works from home quite a bit and not gone 5 days a week for 9+ hours.    An active person, couple or family is what a boy like Dash needs.  If you are interested please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and tell us where you live, city and state.  We transport northward every weekend to the Northeast corridor.  We also adopt to Nashville, TN area residents and surrounding areas as well.        ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
