Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Phoebe! Phoebe is a beautiful 1-year-old Standard Poodle with the most stunning hazel eyes and an incredibly loving personality. She is a sweet soul who adores people and wants nothing more than to be close to her humans. Phoebe loves being rubbed all over, will gently jump up for hugs, and is always ready to give kisses. She is crate trained and potty trained, although she can hold it for quite a long time if needed. Phoebe gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, from tiny pups to large breeds. She has not been tested with children, as her foster home does not have any. Phoebe is still learning some household manners and is currently working on her counter-surfing habit. She also needs to lose a few pounds after recently raising a litter of puppies. Phoebe came from a hoarding situation where she received very little structure or discipline. Despite that, she has proven to be an incredibly quick learner and is eager to please. With consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, she continues to make great progress every day. As a Standard Poodle, Phoebe's future family should be prepared for the breed's high grooming needs. Regular professional grooming every 4–8 weeks is typically required, along with routine brushing at home to prevent matting. Grooming costs can add up, so potential adopters should be ready for the time and financial commitment that comes with maintaining her beautiful coat. Phoebe is looking for a family who will give her the love, guidance, and stability she deserves. In return, she will reward you with endless affection, cuddles, kisses, and loyal companionship.   Medical Notes: Spayed Vaccinated Microchipped Heartworm Negative ProHeart 12 Injection Maintained on monthly preventatives   APPLY HERE Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 14, 2026, 11:24 pm

Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Samson is a 1.5-year-old Husky, Australian Shepherd, and Poodle mix weighing about 40 pounds. He has a medium-high energy level and is full of playful curiosity. Though he is nervous at first, once he feels safe, Samson becomes a happy, bouncy pup who loves attention and belly rubs. One of his cutest quirks is emptying the toy box; he’ll take out every single toy and play with them all in turn. Samson is housetrained, walks well on a leash, and rides calmly in the car. He is also crate-trained and does well when it’s quiet, though he may let his husky voice be heard if he feels he’s missing out on the action. He enjoys walks, fetch, and playing with other dogs, but may be best as the only dog in the family. Samson has shown mild curiosity around livestock and chickens and has done well on leash around them. We think he would be best in a home with no cats, since he tends to pester them in play. Samson had to be shaved down due to matting and will be looking for a family who will continue his grooming routine. He has made great progress with his initial shyness and is already much more comfortable with new people than when he first arrived. He sometimes shies away from men but continues to improve as he builds trust. With time and patience, his happy, goofy side shines through, and he becomes affectionate, silly, and eager to be part of the family. Samson is ready for a home that can give him both guidance and love, along with plenty of playtime and dog companionship. With the right family, he will grow into a loyal, fun-loving partner who fills the home with energy, joy, and all the toys scattered from his favorite game of emptying the toy box.  Interested in adopting? THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. June 14, 2026, 10:36 pm
