Ziva is a beautiful, intelligent, and affectionate 3 year old Standard Poodle who bonds deeply with all people. She was rescued at approximately 5 weeks old and later adopted from the local Humane Society at 4 months old. She is very people-oriented, emotionally sensitive, and thrives in a calm, structured environment with consistent routines. She is smart, learns quickly with positive reinforcement, and loves walks, toys, and especially her ball, which is her favorite way to play and burn energy. We are seeking a very specific home for her long-term success and safety. She must be an only dog with no cats or other animals. An adult-only home (teens are okay) is strongly preferred. She does have epilepsy, which is well managed with medication. She is stable and lives a happy, active life with proper care. Veterinary records will be provided. This decision was made with great love and care. Our goal is to place her in a home where she can be the sole focus and truly thrive.

(Apparently, “almost 7” is a whole mood these days.) This handsome Standard Poodle–Aussie mix was surrendered by his previous owner, who told us he was a puppy. Spoiler alert: he’s not. But don’t tell him that — he still thinks he’s got his puppy charm and wiggle! Currently weighing in around 57 lbs, Six Seven could stand to gain a few — his ideal weight is closer to 75–85 lbs, and with regular meals and a comfy home, he’ll get there in no time. Stark is currently being fostered for us by his owner, but the dog does not like toddlers (they have 2 and he chases cats and chickens) So she needs to get him either adopted or into another foster home ASAP. Stark is super sweet and curious with all adults. He loves to ride in a car, he loves to play in water, loves walks...and he sits to wait for his food. Stark just need a calmer environment to live in, with less stimulation as far as cats and chickens and more mental stimulation. He needs to play with interactive toys for his food or treats (he loves that ) and would likely benefit from being introduced to word buttons, in which animals learn to communicate with humans. Being a poodle, he likes to overthink everything, so giving him something to actually think about is good! Stark's best home would be a person with no children in the home, who has a quiet home and could take him on walks around the neighbor hood, who could play with him at home with interactive toys, and who would understand the poodle's nature. An experienced poodle owner would be great but not a necessity. Stark is housetrained, up to date on all vaccines and microchipped.
