Stark is currently being fostered for us by his owner, but the dog does not like toddlers (they have 2 and he chases cats and chickens) So she needs to get him either adopted or into another foster home ASAP. Stark is super sweet and curious with all adults. He loves to ride in a car, he loves to play in water, loves walks...and he sits to wait for his food. Stark just need a calmer environment to live in, with less stimulation as far as cats and chickens and more mental stimulation. He needs to play with interactive toys for his food or treats (he loves that ) and would likely benefit from being introduced to word buttons, in which animals learn to communicate with humans. Being a poodle, he likes to overthink everything, so giving him something to actually think about is good! Stark's best home would be a person with no children in the home, who has a quiet home and could take him on walks around the neighbor hood, who could play with him at home with interactive toys, and who would understand the poodle's nature. An experienced poodle owner would be great but not a necessity. Stark is housetrained, up to date on all vaccines and microchipped.

Now safe at Texas Star Rescue, this 10–11 month old male poodle mix is learning what love feels like, and he’s blooming beautifully. He may be shy at first, but give him a few minutes and he warms up fast, leaning in for comfort and quiet affection. ✨ Franco’s Perks: About 1 year old Male poodle mix Found abandoned with two others A little shy at first, but bonds quickly Great with other dogs Good with cats Gentle, sweet, and sensitive Loves cuddles once he feels safe Franco is also heartworm positive, but don’t let that discourage you. He’s already on a treatment plan, and TSR will guide his adopter every step of the way. He’s feeling good, playful, and ready for his new chapter.
