Story
Meet Neela! She a blue standard poodle born in 2016, and is as sweet as they come. Neela is the perfect companion for anyone seeking a loyal and affectionate friend. Neela is a blend of couch potato and quite active. Neela is a quick eater, so a slow-feeder dish helps to pace her mealtimes, and she is always eager to work for treats, making training a breeze! Weighing in at 51 lbs, Neela is the ideal size for cuddles and companionship. Secure fencing is a must, as she is extremely difficult to catch. Early on with her time in her foster home, she got loose and it took a week and a whole community looking out for her to get her back home. She requires a home without small children, but has lived peacefully with children 10 or older. Visit our website to fill out an Adoption Application http://www.wagsequimwa.com If you have any questions, please email: office@wagsequimwa.com. Most of our dogs require a fully fenced yard, this does depend on the individual dogs needs and safety requirements. Adoption donation fee up to $350 (Please understand this adoption donation goes towards helping all the dogs we rescue) May 22, 2026, 6:50 pm

Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Meet Max Max is a 10-month-old Standard Poodle boy, weighing about 35 lbs, with a striking white coat, long legs, and a bright, intelligent expression that hints at just how special he is. He was rescued from a high-kill shelter in South Korea, where his future was uncertain and time was running out. Despite that rough start, Max is resilient, curious, and ready to experience the life every young dog deserves — one filled with learning, love, and adventure. Still very much a puppy, Max is at an age where training, bonding, and exploration are part of everyday life. He’s eager to grow into a confident companion and is looking for a home that will guide him, engage his clever mind, and include him in family life. &#226&#156&#168 Adoption Information Max’s adoption fee is $1,995, a non-refundable donation that helps support lifesaving rescue efforts. It includes: Neuter Vaccinations Microchip Boarding and daily care Health certificate Transport from South Korea to Seattle &#226&#156&#136&#239&#184&#143 A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs — you may bring your own or purchase one from us. Story
Meet our handsome Standard Poodle boy — a loving, calm companion with the intelligence and loyal nature the breed is known for. Standard Poodles are celebrated for being highly intelligent, affectionate, and eager to bond closely with their families, and this sweet boy is no exception. He has a gentle, easygoing personality and enjoys being near his people, whether he’s relaxing quietly at home or joining in on family activities. He is currently living with children and has shown himself to be patient and affectionate in the home. He has also done well with the dogs he has met so far and approaches new canine friends with a calm, friendly demeanor. Like many Standard Poodles, he is both emotionally intuitive and people-oriented. He enjoys companionship and thrives when included as part of the family. While he has a calm temperament, he also appreciates regular walks, playtime, and mental stimulation to keep his bright mind engaged. It’s his sweet personality that truly makes him special. This wonderful boy would do best in a home looking for a devoted companion who can be both a playful friend and a calm presence. If you are searching for a smart, affectionate, family-friendly dog with the classic Standard Poodle charm, he may be your perfect match

Story
Meet Ottis, a purebred Standard Poodle puppy with a fun-loving personality and a bright future ahead of him. His beautiful silver beige coloring comes from his father, who is also in rescue along with Ottis’s mother. Ottis is secure, confident, friendly, and playful. He especially enjoys playing with the resident Malinois and loves being included in daily activities. He is looking for a home committed to continued daily socialization with both dogs and people, along with ongoing training to help him grow into a well-rounded adult dog. As with all Standard Poodles, his future family should understand the grooming commitment and expense that comes with maintaining their coats through regular professional grooming and routine coat care at home. Ottis is smart and already well on his way to being fully housetrained. He currently weighs 21 lbs, and we suspect he will grow to be similar in size to his father. Ottis would thrive in a home ready for an active, intelligent, affectionate puppy and all the joy and responsibility that comes with raising a young Standard Poodle.

Story
Animal Profile: Buddy is a 4.5-year-old Doodle (1/2 Border Collie 1/2 Standard Poodle). He was purchased from a breeder prior to his owners having children. Buddy is a friendly but slightly anxious guy who has not adjusted well to having a toddler in the home. His family invested in a 4-week board and train with a local dog trainer in hopes that it would help Buddy feel more comfortable around small toddlers. Buddy completed his training; he has excellent house and leash manners, is house trained, crate trained; and knows the ‘place’ command. Unfortunately he was still too uncomfortable around the kids after training, and his family decided it was best to find him a new home. Buddy has been trained using balanced methods, including e collar for off leash reliability. Buddy does great at doggy daycare, but does have some resource guarding around food and select toys when it comes to other dogs. While he enjoys his dog friends, we think he’d be happiest as an only dog. Buddy has not lived with cats. Buddy is currently in foster care with a balanced trainer, and doing well. Foster Update: coming soon! Adoption Info: The adoption fee is $550 which includes his neuter, core vaccinations,  DPPV, Bordetella, microchip, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application  March 7, 2026, 12:47 pm
