Story
Meet Neela! She a blue standard poodle born in 2016, and is as sweet as they come. Neela is the perfect companion for anyone seeking a loyal and affectionate friend. Neela is a blend of couch potato and quite active. Neela is a quick eater, so a slow-feeder dish helps to pace her mealtimes, and she is always eager to work for treats, making training a breeze! Weighing in at 51 lbs, Neela is the ideal size for cuddles and companionship. Secure fencing is a must, as she is extremely difficult to catch. Early on with her time in her foster home, she got loose and it took a week and a whole community looking out for her to get her back home. She requires a home without small children, but has lived peacefully with children 10 or older. Visit our website to fill out an Adoption Application http://www.wagsequimwa.com If you have any questions, please email: office@wagsequimwa.com. Most of our dogs require a fully fenced yard, this does depend on the individual dogs needs and safety requirements. Adoption donation fee up to $350 (Please understand this adoption donation goes towards helping all the dogs we rescue) June 11, 2026, 3:55 pm

Despite that rough start, Max is resilient, curious, and ready to experience the life every young dog deserves — one filled with learning, love, and adventure. Still very much a puppy, Max is at an age where training, bonding, and exploration are part of everyday life. He’s eager to grow into a confident companion and is looking for a home that will guide him, engage his clever mind, and include him in family life. &#226&#156&#168 Adoption Information Max’s adoption fee is $1,995, a non-refundable donation that helps support lifesaving rescue efforts. It includes: Neuter Vaccinations Microchip Boarding and daily care Health certificate Transport from South Korea to Seattle &#226&#156&#136&#239&#184&#143 A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs — you may bring your own or purchase one from us. Story
Meet our handsome Standard Poodle boy — a loving, calm companion with the intelligence and loyal nature the breed is known for. Standard Poodles are celebrated for being highly intelligent, affectionate, and eager to bond closely with their families, and this sweet boy is no exception. He has a gentle, easygoing personality and enjoys being near his people, whether he’s relaxing quietly at home or joining in on family activities. He is currently living with children and has shown himself to be patient and affectionate in the home. He has also done well with the dogs he has met so far and approaches new canine friends with a calm, friendly demeanor. Like many Standard Poodles, he is both emotionally intuitive and people-oriented. He enjoys companionship and thrives when included as part of the family. While he has a calm temperament, he also appreciates regular walks, playtime, and mental stimulation to keep his bright mind engaged. It’s his sweet personality that truly makes him special. This wonderful boy would do best in a home looking for a devoted companion who can be both a playful friend and a calm presence. If you are searching for a smart, affectionate, family-friendly dog with the classic Standard Poodle charm, he may be your perfect match

Story
Animal Information: Ringo came to his current caretaker through a contact of his owner who was no longer able to care for him. He was living on a porch day and night. Unfortunately, he hasn’t had much formal training and can be a bit challenging to manage on leash, especially for someone using a wheelchair. At 3.5 years old and 65 lbs, Ringo is a strong, active dog who can show some leash reactivity due to insecurity and excitement. He would benefit greatly from a foster or adopter who is willing to provide structure, set clear boundaries, and continue working on his training. Despite these challenges, Ringo has a great temperament. During his evaluation, he showed himself to be a friendly, good-natured dog who simply needs consistency and guidance in his daily life. He currently lives with another dog and has experience living with children ages 5–13. Ringo is house-trained, comfortable in his crate, and enjoys meeting new people. With the right support, he has great potential to become a well-balanced and happy companion. Foster Profile:  Ringo is friendly with everyone he meets and has a big, happy personality that makes him a joy to be around. Playful, affectionate, and social, he loves being included in the fun and thrives on companionship. He’s crate trained and house broken, and he does best with structure and consistency. As a smart, energetic doodle, he’ll need an adopter who’s committed to continuing his training and setting firm, clear boundaries. Without guidance, he can become a bit rambunctious and challenging on leash, but with consistent leadership and exercise, he truly thrives. Ringo is looking for an active home who has prior dog experience that will provide both love and structure. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was surrendered to our rescue when her owners could no longer care for her. He joined the rescue and will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.June 13, 2026, 7:15 pm

Story
Animal Profile: Buddy is a 4.5-year-old Doodle (1/2 Border Collie 1/2 Standard Poodle). He was purchased from a breeder prior to his owners having children. Buddy is a friendly but slightly anxious guy who has not adjusted well to having a toddler in the home. His family invested in a 4-week board and train with a local dog trainer in hopes that it would help Buddy feel more comfortable around small toddlers. Buddy completed his training; he has excellent house and leash manners, is house trained, crate trained; and knows the ‘place’ command. Unfortunately he was still too uncomfortable around the kids after training, and his family decided it was best to find him a new home. Buddy has been trained using balanced methods, including e collar for off leash reliability. Buddy does great at doggy daycare, but does have some resource guarding around food and select toys when it comes to other dogs. While he enjoys his dog friends, we think he’d be happiest as an only dog. Buddy has not lived with cats. Buddy is currently in foster care with a balanced trainer, and doing well. Foster Update: coming soon! Adoption Info: The adoption fee is $550 which includes his neuter, core vaccinations,  DPPV, Bordetella, microchip, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application  June 13, 2026, 7:15 pm
