Story
NAME:ButtonSTATS:Male, Schauzer/wire haired terrier mix, 2 years, 25 lbs.TEMPERAMENT:Friendly.Active (may be good at agility training).Playful, but not overly so.Needs to be around his people.SKILLSPotty trained.Leash trained.Good with dogs.Would make a great hiking buddy.Highly intelligent.Has not been exposed to children, but we feel gentle children over 8 would be fine.Has not been exposed to cats.Plays with all 3 of his foster siblings every day.MORE ABOUT ME:Likes belly rubs.Couch cuddler.Likes walks.Likes playing with other dogs.Submissive.Suggest training (basic manners).ONE LAST THING:Button is what I like to call a 'plug & play' dog. He integrated into our pack seamlessly & almost instantly, so I believe he would do the same with his forever family. He's a great dog. He learned the dog door after the first time one of our dogs showed him how. He hasn't had an accident in the house since the first day. He loves walks & has even been great on off-leash hikes. He's good in the car. He is not a door dasher & will stay close when outside. He loves being close to his people & is never out of my sight unless he is playing or pottying outside. He loves to snuggle & (don't tell anyone!) sleeps in our bed.December 26, 2025, 4:51 pm

Story
Greg is very affectionate and very, very energetic. He likes to play with chew toys and stuffed toys. He will retrieve, but won't give the item to you. (negotiations continue) Greg needs an energetic person, maybe someone who runs. We have tried long walks twice a day and it isn't enough to wear him out. He has started obedience classes and is pretty good with sit, down and working on stay. His teacher says he is smart. We have had Greg about a month and he has made progress, but we are just too old for him.

Story
Meet Franklin!Franklin is a 9-month-old Schnauzer mix with an absolute heart of gold. He came to us with a large litter and didn’t receive much attention early in life, but he’s making up for lost time with play, love, and learning! This sweet boy lights up when he has a canine companion — he loves dog friends and really comes out of his shell with a buddy to play with. Franklin prefers to take things slow at first, like a proper first date, but once he gets to know you, he’s affectionate, goofy, and wonderful with everyone, kids included. Franklin is scheduled for his neuter and is already vaccinated and microchipped.Take him home today and watch him blossom into your best friend! ##2580227##

She’s house-trained, sleeps through the night, and would happily curl up beside you for cuddles once the day is done. While she can be a bit shy at first, her loyalty runs deep—once she bonds with you, she truly becomes your dog. Layla is being fostered on a farm, so she’s confident around big machinery, gentle with horses, and other animals. She’s smart, food-motivated, and highly trainable, with great recall and wonderful manners. She loves car rides, adores other dogs, and is fantastic with people and kids. No food aggression, just a sweet soul who wants to belong. She’ll benefit from some leash work (farm life didn’t require much!), and she would thrive in a home with a big family and a confident “model” dog to help guide her as she continues to mature. Breed: Collie / Retriever / Schnauzer mix Size: Medium, expected to mature under 50 lbs ✨ Layla’s Highlights: • House trained • Calm, gentle, and kind-hearted • Loyal and people-oriented • Great recall & highly trainable • Loves dogs, kids, and people • Excellent in the car • No food aggression • Sleeps through the night & loves to cuddle • Comfortable around farm animals and machinery Layla does like to snuggle close and may try to “claim” her person on the bed—she’s a devoted companion who loves deeply.
