Story
NAME:ButtonSTATS:Male, Schauzer/wire haired terrier mix, 2 years, 25 lbs.TEMPERAMENT:Friendly.Active (may be good at agility training).Playful, but not overly so.Needs to be around his people.SKILLSPotty trained.Leash trained.Good with dogs.Would make a great hiking buddy.Highly intelligent.Has not been exposed to children, but we feel gentle children over 8 would be fine.Has not been exposed to cats.Plays with all 3 of his foster siblings every day.MORE ABOUT ME:Likes belly rubs.Couch cuddler.Likes walks.Likes playing with other dogs.Submissive.Suggest training (basic manners).ONE LAST THING:Button is what I like to call a 'plug & play' dog. He integrated into our pack seamlessly & almost instantly, so I believe he would do the same with his forever family. He's a great dog. He learned the dog door after the first time one of our dogs showed him how. He hasn't had an accident in the house since the first day. He loves walks & has even been great on off-leash hikes. He's good in the car. He is not a door dasher & will stay close when outside. He loves being close to his people & is never out of my sight unless he is playing or pottying outside. He loves to snuggle & (don't tell anyone!) sleeps in our bed.December 21, 2025, 8:04 pm
