Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Sebastian! Sebastian is a handsome young Schnauzer mix with a big heart and even bigger energy! Born around May 6, 2024, and weighing approximately 30 pounds, this lovable boy is ready to start a new chapter after a rough beginning. He was sadly left behind when his family moved away, but thanks to a kind-hearted Good Samaritan, Sebastian was rescued and given a second chance at life. Now he’s looking for an active family that will never leave him behind again. Sebastian is full of playful, puppy energy and thrives on companionship—he wants nothing more than to be near his people at all times. He can be vocal when separated or caged away from the family, simply because he loves being part of the action. Daily exercise, playtime, and mental stimulation will help him shine in his new home. If you're looking for a loyal, energetic companion who will keep you smiling and moving, Sebastian is your guy! His adoption fee is $300. Apply to adopt him at www.adoggie4you.org.   This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $250. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 17, 2025, 4:13 pm

Story
Meet Cooper! Cooper is a happy, affectionate boy who truly shines when he’s out and about with his people. He loves going for walks and would be just as content exploring a hiking trail as he would be curled up beside you for a movie marathon. When Cooper steps out of his kennel, his face lights up with the biggest, brightest smile; and we know that smile will only grow once he finds his perfect fur-ever home. Cooper was adopted and returned after struggling with anxiety around unfamiliar people. With a little patience, structure, and understanding, he shows just how loving and loyal he can be. To help set him up for success, Cooper comes with post-adoption training support to help his new family feel confident and supported every step of the way. Cooper is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. He would thrive as the only pet in an adult-only home where he can soak up all the love he deserves. In the right environment, this sweet boy is ready to be an amazing adventure buddy, couch companion, and best friend!

Story
McGraw (aka “The Audacity in a Fur Coat” ) McGraw is a 6-month-old Schnauzer mix who radiates confidence, charm, and pure audacity. He’s cute — offensively cute — which is fortunate, because he’s also a bit of a menace. Honestly, he’s lucky he’s handsome. It’s the only reason we haven’t sent him packing for his unapologetic antics. He’s brilliant, but not in a helpful way. You can expect a constant stream of feedback—he’s nothing if not expressive. He’ll let you know exactly how he feels about everything— sometimes through barking, sometimes through grumbling, and occasionally through what we’ll call “constructive growling.” Don’t worry, it’s mostly just his way of expressing that you’ve mildly inconvenienced him. He’s the type of dog who’ll steal your heart and your spot on the couch, then growl when you try to take it back. He does well with kids, cats, and other dogs — assuming everyone understands who’s in charge here (hint: it’s McGraw ). He’s crate trained, picking up house training, neutered, vaccinated, and running entirely on confidence and misplaced self-importance. He’ll make you laugh, cry, and question your life choices , often in the same hour. McGraw will require an adopter with either a lot of experience or the patience of a saint — preferably both. You’ll need a sense of humor, low blood pressure, and a good understanding of irony. If you enjoy sarcastic commentary, mildly toxic relationships, and being bossed around by someone under two feet tall, McGraw is your guy. Apply now, or don’t— his self esteem will remain unaffected.

My name is Diva and I am a 6 1/2-year old chocolate Schnauzer. I weigh approximately 12 pounds. I was surrendered by a breeder. I am very sweet, good with other dogs and cats.
