Story
Taco is your typical puppy in that he loves to run and play like the rest of them and then settles down to cuddle.  But Taco is NOT typical when it comes to his good looks and his Schnauzer personality.   This mix of a puppy is only 7 pounds and just 14 weeks old as of 9/30.   He is all boy and toys are his passion and tug of war is his main game.   He is not afraid of anything or any other dog.   This boy would be a great second dog companion to one you already have that needs a playmate. We would want Taco to go to a home where his people are not away every Monday – Friday for 9 hours work days.  He is not used to being crated during the day that long.  He is crate trained but not a fan of being there for long and multiple house except at night when sleeping. As long as he is taken out regularly he is doing good on his house training. We are working on his leash training and he needs some work but again he is a baby. Taco is a smart little guy and is the cutest boy that will brighten up anyone's day.  If you are interested in a boy who will be a 25 pound adult dog please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comOctober 2, 2023, 11:51 am

Story
Bronson's doing amazing in his foster home! He's wagging his tail, playful and does the cutest butt wiggles when he's excited. He is very sweet with his foster's young children, and he absolutely loves pets. He's completely house trained--he hasn't had any accidents in his foster home. He likes to sleep in the bedroom, but can be kenneled at night. His personality is starting to show now that he's not as nervous about being in a home, and he'll just keep doing better and better! He's really good walking on a leash, but does get spooked easily. He's still very nervous with new people, but has started approaching them to sniff. He follow his foster mom around everywhere and enjoys being by her side. He's very gentle and doesn't have a mean bone in his body. Bronson is almost a year old and weighs about 45 pounds.Bronson came from a life where he spent 22 hours a day in a kennel. He's in a foster home now and he's doing well, but still has a long ways to go.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as ''Out of Town'' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.October 2, 2023, 5:26 pm
