Well, hello there cutie! Johnny is estimated to be about a year old and weighs 41 pounds. Meet Johnny, such a nice boy who needs a little extra love right now. This sweetie is not interested in anything else other than being close to you and getting love. He is a little shy and insecure, but he seems open to trusting, it just may take some time. We feel Johnny may have had an abusive past with evidence his mouth was taped shut, poor muffin. He will tuck his cute little tail when he is scared. He for sure needs an adopter who will work on confidence building, trust and positive socialization. Johnny is very attentive to you, takes his treats nicely and would just blossom with the right family. He will need a home where any children are at least 13 years old with his shy nature. Johnny can't wait for a family to love and care for him like he deserves. If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Johnny would love to meet them. He perks up as soon as he sees another dog. Another dog in the home may really help with his confidence building. If you are interested in Johnny and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. After spending two weeks as strays, they stuck together through thick and thin, showcasing an unbreakable loyalty. Tonks is a 3-4 year old spirited terrier mix, and Corduroy is 3-4 year old lovable poodle mix. Both girls have great temperaments and are affectionate with people, and other dogs. Both might need time to gain confidence around larger dogs but do great after slow introductions. Both are crate trained and about 95% potty trained and eager to learn more. Corduroy and Tonks both need supervision and reminders as they continue their journey. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification.
