Story
LOVES CAR RIDES, WALKS, AND NAPPING ON YOUR BED  Est. DOB 6/1/25, weight 30 lbs. Wanna play!? Then Lola is your girl!  This cutie patootie is all about playing, either with her foster mom or her dog friends at Day Care. She has typical puppy energy, but she’s currently enrolled in obedience class which is helping her to focus and channel that energy into good doggy manners. Lola loves to go on walks where she can polish her leash work, ride in the car, play with her toys, and monopolize the bed when taking a nap. She’s very treat-motivated, and she’s learning to be around cats without barking at them. It’s a work in progress. Lola was found on the street and was happy to go up to her future foster mom for some treats and turn on the spunk! Lola’s ideal home environment would include a family with an active lifestyle, a backyard for playtimes to get the zoomies out, and a canine big brother to set a good example and keep her on her toes. HOPE ID D26-0124-0007 Lola’s $200 adoption fee includes the spay, vaccines, microchip, negative heartworm test, negative fecal test, and monthly prevention for heartworms and fleas.  To apply online, go to: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/dog-adoption.php.  Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt from us but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started. If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site Lola will be at this weekend, email us at lisagilchrist16@gmail.com and a volunteer will get back to you. Story
Pierce is a good looking boy straight from the streets of Houston. He is a wonderful, funny boy when he trusts you but trust is not something that comes easy for him. He has obviously been let down by humans his entire life. He is currently living with our trainer, who is helping him understand that humans can be good and trusted. Pierce is just about 2 years old, 60 pounds and maybe a schnauzer/husky mix. He needs an experienced handler who can continue to help him build h is confidence and trust in humans. Pierce is up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped. Pierce is currently heartworm positive but we will continue to cover treating him through the slow kill method. If you are interested in fostering or adopting this handsome guy, just fill out the appropriate application found at scoutshonor.org.     Scout's Honor Rescue is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill TX shelters. EIN # is 87-0773073 Follow us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/scoutshonorrescue or Instagram at www.instagram.com/scoutshonorrescue We have multiple ways to donate: Venmo:  @ScoutsHonor-Rescue Paypal: www.paypal.me/scoutshonorrescue   https://scoutshonor.org/take-action/donate/ We are strictly volunteer based, no salaries are paid and 100% of donations go towards rescuing dogs March 8, 2026, 9:28 pm
