Story
Pierce is a good looking boy straight from the streets of Houston. He is a wonderful, funny boy when he trusts you but trust is not something that comes easy for him. He has obviously been let down by humans his entire life. He is currently living with our trainer, who is helping him understand that humans can be good and trusted. Pierce is just about 2 years old, 60 pounds and maybe a schnauzer/husky mix. He needs an experienced handler who can continue to help him build h is confidence and trust in humans. Pierce is up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped. Pierce is currently heartworm positive but we will continue to cover treating him through the slow kill method. **Homebody Introvert alert** Hello, my SOCA name is Sirius Black but I go by the name Cutter. I was DNA tested and I am a mix of Schnauzer, Staffordshire terrier, and Boxer. I got my Shakira wiggle butt hips from my boxer side, the loyalty and attention from my Staffie side and the wild hair from my Schnauzer side. I am an easy laid back adult boy looking for a not so active person. I am a querky introvert who prefers to co-exist with you and I will be a great for someone who just wants an easy companion. I grew up with kids and love them. Because I am a grown adult, I am fully potty trained and I love to hang out in my crate, its my bedroom. I will lay by your feet in the kitchen or the living room. I am a FOODIE and very treat motivated. I must brag about being a master treat catcher! I will do anything for a treat. I love the back and belly scratches. Something silly about me: I like to rub on the side of the couch like a cat and sometimes I tend to rearrange the furniture when I do. I am very respectful when it comes to furniture and spaces. Meaning, I do not attempt to get on the couch or enter places that I am not invited to, such as your bedroom. I am a low maintenence guy who's looking to be your one and only. I dont really need to go on walks, but I do prefer a home with a yard. Since I am a home body, I will to do my business outside and wait at the door to come right back in. My adoption fee is $100 locally in Houston, TX and $250 out of state (includes travel fee and health certificate). I am up to date on all my vaccines, microchipped and neutered. Lennox (black) is a 8 year old male schnauzer. Lennox is full of energy and truly loves a game of fetch at anytime. He enjoys being entertained with mind stimulation toys and enjoys cuddles. Teigen (silver) is a 8 year old female and is a very laid back , low energy dog who enjoys napping. She is not very playful but loves to be around people. Both dogs have been around each other since they were 6 weeks old. It is a requirement to keep them together since they are very close. Both dogs have been indoors their entire life and have never been destructive. My only reason for having to rehome is due to moving to another country that is requiring too much of my time. I want my dogs to have a fun filled life with plenty of attention. It breaks my heart to have to do this but it’s for their best interest. I hope my pets find a good deserving home!
