Story
Sweet Sosa is blind but can see some shadows and light but it doesn't stop him from participating in life. Sosa has some hearing loss but he can hear and follow his foster when she calls his name, claps her hands or whistles. He's learned his indoor and outdoor boundaries really well. Each change of living situation will require a short relearning period.Sosa likes to play with and follow the resident dog who's about the same size and a little younger. Sosa loves squeaky toys and balls, and a roll in the grass, cuddles, belly rubs and walks well on a leash in his neighborhood. After some training, Sosa has mastered use of a doggie door and more impressively, he'll even pick up a toy from the living room, walk through doggie door and drop the toy in the backyard all by himself. When his foster cooks Sosa likes to quietly lay in the kitchen, hoping for a taste.. After a full day, Sosa sleeps soundly through-out the night.Sosa's health needs have been caught up while in foster care. He's even had a dental. An allergy shot helps him stay comfortable during seasonal changes. It's onward to the best of the rest of his life to a safe, loving home.Apply on his link to start a conversation with his foster mom. Primary Color: Tan Secondary Color: Black Weight: 35 Age: 10yrs 7mths 3wks

Story
Orzo is a sweet, sensitive soul who loves absolutely everyone he meets, especially dog and cat friends. He loves to play with toys and chew bones, and he does the most adorable hop when he is happy. He has great leash manners and loves going on walks and romping in the back yard. He likes dogs who are small like him, but will truly play with any dog of any size and is a good mix of playful and docile. Orzo loves to nap in small spaces, like his kennel, the laundry hamper, or anywhere he can nuzzle up and get cozy. He loves to sleep in his kennel and considers it his "safe space," but he has recently also taken a liking to his foster mom's bed. He's not a big cuddler but does loves to sleep next to his foster dog and cat siblings. Orzo absolutely thrives when he has another dog to play with and take cues from, so his ideal home has a confident doggie bestie for him. He is a homebody who doesn't care for car rides (most likely from a past trauma associated with a vehicle before he was rescued), so he needs lots of gentle TLC when travel is needed. His ideal person is someone who is home often, is kind, loves to go on walks, and most importantly has a dog friend for him to play with. If you're ready to open your home to this exquisitely perfect little fellow, he's more than ready to meet you (and especially your dog). <3 **Adoptable in the greater Austin, Texas, area only.**
