She needs a patient adopter who can give her the time and consistency she needs to come out of her shell and build confidence. She is fearful of men but will learn to live with one that is calm and willing to work with her. She prefers women. She is the type of dog that needs left alone to come to you then you will gain her trust. She is both dog- and cat-friendly and would do best in an adult-only home where her need for space is respected. She loves running around the yard, and if she's comfortable with you, she enjoys pets and affection. She loves to play fetch and is active with other dogs and enjoys dog parks. With plenty of love and understanding, she will flourish into the loyal companion she's meant to be. If you're looking for a gentle soul to nurture, Chai is the one for you! Adoption fee is: $300 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. Avery is a sweetheart of a dog. I’ve had him almost 3 years now. Not much of a lap dog but does love to be beside you. He loves cats & children. He would be the perfect family dog. Unfortunately I’m leaving out of the state and am unable to bring him which is a very hard decision. He is potty trained and knows basic commands. He loves Salmon dog food and treats.
