Story
Keepsake Breed: Schnauzer Terrier Mix Sex: Female Age: Young Adult (estimated) Some dogs leave paw prints on your heart before you even know their story. Keepsake was found abandoned underneath a trailer in Waller with her two 7-week-old daughters, Trinket and Locket. Despite the uncertainty they faced, this devoted mama did everything she could to keep her babies safe until help arrived. Now, Keepsake is beginning a brand-new chapter. She’s settling into foster care, learning that soft beds, full meals, gentle hands, and kindness are part of everyday life. As she continues to decompress, we’re watching her confidence grow and look forward to seeing her true personality blossom. Like so many rescue dogs, Keepsake deserves a family willing to give her the patience and love she may not have experienced before. In return, they’ll gain a loyal companion whose journey is a beautiful reminder of resilience and hope. As we get to know Keepsake better, we’ll continue updating her profile with more about her personality, favorite activities, and the home where she’ll thrive. Could you be the one to give this brave mama the happily-ever-after she’s been waiting for? ##2792343##

Story
**Homebody Introvert alert** Hello, my SOCA name is Sirius Black but I go by the name Cutter. I was DNA tested and I am a mix of Schnauzer, Staffordshire terrier, and Boxer. I got my Shakira wiggle butt hips from my boxer side, the loyalty and attention from my Staffie side and the wild hair from my Schnauzer side. I am an easy laid back adult boy looking for a not so active person. I am a querky introvert who prefers to co-exist with you and I will be a great for someone who just wants an easy companion. I grew up with kids and love them. Because I am a grown adult, I am fully potty trained and I love to hang out in my crate, its my bedroom. I will lay by your feet in the kitchen or the living room. I am a FOODIE and very treat motivated. I must brag about being a master treat catcher! I will do anything for a treat. I love the back and belly scratches. Something silly about me: I like to rub on the side of the couch like a cat and sometimes I tend to rearrange the furniture when I do. I am very respectful when it comes to furniture and spaces. Meaning, I do not attempt to get on the couch or enter places that I am not invited to, such as your bedroom. I am a low maintenence guy who's looking to be your one and only. I dont really need to go on walks, but I do prefer a home with a yard. Since I am a home body, I will to do my business outside and wait at the door to come right back in. My adoption fee is $100 locally in Houston, TX and $250 out of state (includes travel fee and health certificate). I am up to date on all my vaccines, microchipped and neutered. Story
Hi there… my name is Ollie. Not too long ago, I found myself scared and confused in a loud, overcrowded shelter until the wonderful people at SOCA came to my rescue. Now I’m hoping to find a forever family of my very own. I’m a sweet, loyal boy who loves being close to my people. If you need a shadow, I’m your guy! Whether you’re relaxing at home, working around the house, or enjoying some fresh air outside, I’ll happily follow you just about anywhere. I’ve got lots of energy and would love a home with a large fenced backyard where I can run and play. Right now, I’m learning commands like “sit,” “stay,” and “fetch,” and I’m excited to keep learning with the right family. I’m very food motivated, love my toys, and after playtime is over, my favorite place to be is curled up next to my person as your lap buddy. More than anything, I just want someone to love and stay close to forever. Maybe that could be you? ❤️ My adoption fee is $350 locally in Houston, TX. It includes all my vaccines, spay/neuter, and microchip. Fill out an app at: https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=SQYPSGVQJuly 22, 2026, 9:00 am

Jasmine is a sweet senior Mini Schnauzer who adores attention and being around people. She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company. Jasmine prefers to keep her paws on the ground, so she’s happiest when loved from a gentle distance rather than being picked up. A calm, caring home would be perfect for this lovely little lady.To meet me, please fill out an adoption application on https://www.hartrescue.com/adoption-process

Story
Hi! I'm Charlotte, and I'm currently searching for a dog to adopt me. Humans are... well... acceptable, I suppose, mostly because they seem to be in charge of important things like food, water, comfy beds, and opening doors. But if we're being honest, I'd really prefer a confident canine roommate to show me the ropes. You see, I trust dogs way more than people. They know who's safe, what's worth investigating, and when it's time to relax in a sunny patch of grass. Since no one is a better judge of character than another dog, I'm hoping my future furry sibling can help me learn that the world isn't quite as scary as I think it is. I'm a gentle, sensitive girl who likes to take life at my own pace. New people and new situations can feel overwhelming, so I'll need a family that understands trust isn't something I give away overnight. The good news? Every little bit of progress is a huge victory with me, and earning the trust of a dog like me is one of the most rewarding experiences you can imagine. Watching me become just a little braver each day is truly something special. I'm probably not going to be the tiny lap dog everyone expects—and that's okay! At bedtime, I'd be happiest with a cozy bed right next to my furry sibling's. Maybe one day I'll decide to scoot it a little closer, but for now, just being in the same room is perfect. My perfect home is calm, patient, and understanding. I don't need someone to rush me—I need someone willing to celebrate every tiny step forward and let me blossom on my own timeline. With a trusted dog by my side, a warm sunny spot to nap in, and kind humans who respect my boundaries while cheering me on, I'll keep discovering that the world can be a pretty wonderful place after all. If your dog has been looking for a new best friend... I just might be the one they've been waiting for.
