Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog.  Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites.  Huxley came to us with his girlfriend Haven a couple of weeks after we took in their 2 baby girls.  Their owner left the country and a family member took them in.  Soon after they realized Haven was pregnant so they kept them until the puppies were ready for homes.  They couldn't keep them permanently because they already had dogs of their own.  So now it's Huxley's turn to find a permanent family that will make his next home his last home.   He's a nice boy and great size at 34 pounds.  Not too small and not too big.  He is house trained and been a nice guest in his foster home.  He was never crate trained and doesn't appreciate being in a crate, not for long anyways (he messed up a crate door to escape when he first arrived).  Update:  he is now crate trained and doing well there when he needs to be in it.   Over the time we've had him, we've tried to place him with different other dogs.  It doesn't seem that he's aggressive, but he is inappropriate with his interactions.  He pounces on this and mouths them and it's scary for the dog.  So we'd like him to be your one and only.  But he's easy to take walks in pubic too so it's not like he has to be isolated from dogs.  We've had him at several adoption events. We are requiring a securely fenced yard for this guy so he can safely explore his yard while out on potty breaks or hanging out with you outside.     Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 6, 2026, 2:36 pm

She is: Sweet, calm, and kind-hearted Trusting and affectionate with people Social and peaceful with other dogs and cats Polite, well-mannered, and responsive to training Comfortable on leash and relaxed in the car A lover of daily walks and serene outdoor time Galilea worked closely with a professional trainer during her rehabilitation and has excelled in learning basic commands and good manners. She is intelligent, eager to please, and continues to grow more confident every day. Galilea isn’t just looking for a home—she’s looking for a family who will honor her journey and cherish the gentle soul she is today. Galilea’s Rescue Story Galilea’s life began with heartbreak. She was given as a “gift” to a family who did not understand kindness or responsibility toward animals. The children were never taught how to interact gently, and the adults allowed this mistreatment. Galilea lived in constant fear until she was ultimately discarded. Thankfully, a compassionate neighbor stepped in and reached out for help. One of our rescuers brought Galilea to safety and began her long journey toward healing. Just as she started to feel secure again, Galilea was attacked by another dog during a routine walk with a dog walker, suffering serious physical injuries and emotional trauma. Her recovery became even more complex—but she never gave up. With unwavering dedication, Galilea’s rescuer committed to her rehabilitation, working closely with a professional trainer and a specialized boarding facility. Through patience, structure, and unconditional love, Galilea slowly learned that the world could be safe again. Today, after two years of healing, Galilea is a gentle, trusting, and loving dog—ready to leave her painful past behind and begin her forever chapter. Story
Meet Charlotte Charlotte is a sweet, easy-going 1-year-old girl with a gentle, joyful personality. Weighing just 8 kg (17.6 lbs), this Wire Fox Terrier mix is the perfect size for both cuddles and adventures. She truly loves people and enjoys the company of other dogs—whether that means playtime or simply sharing space peacefully. Charlotte walks well on leash, rides calmly in the car, and looks forward to her daily walks where she can explore the world at her own pace. She is smart, food-motivated, and eager to learn, making training fun and rewarding with positive reinforcement. She is potty trained in her foster environment and is expected to adjust quickly to new house rules. While she is not yet crate trained, she is adaptable and a fast learner. Charlotte currently shares her space with other dogs in foster care and sleeps comfortably on a dog bed in a designated area of the home. With her loving nature and balanced temperament, Charlotte would make a wonderful companion for a family or individual looking for an affectionate, loyal, and adaptable dog to share everyday life and adventures. Charlotte’s Ideal Home Charlotte would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can be treated as a true family member. Her ideal home includes: A family or individual who enjoys daily walks and quality time together Plenty of affection and human interaction—she loves being around people Friendly resident dogs (a bonus, but not required) Continued positive-reinforcement training, which she excels at A relaxed apartment or house environment where she can feel safe and secure Above all, Charlotte is looking for kindness, consistency, and warmth—a place where she can continue to blossom and share her sweet, easy-going nature every day. Charlotte’s Rescue Story Charlotte once had a home, but sadly she was never properly cared for. After enduring long-term neglect, she was eventually abandoned. A kind neighbor found her in poor condition, covered in fleas and clearly in need of help. Trying to do the right thing, the woman attempted to treat the fleas using a liquid she didn’t realize was toxic for dogs. Although well-intended, it caused severe skin irritation and inflammation, leaving Charlotte uncomfortable and in pain. When it became clear that she couldn’t provide the care Charlotte needed, she reached out for help. That’s when Charlotte came into our care. With proper veterinary treatment, time, and lots of love, Charlotte made a full recovery. Today, her skin has healed, her spirit is bright, and she is ready to leave her difficult past behind. Charlotte is healthy, happy, and prepared to start a new chapter with a family who will love and protect her forever. Adoption InfoCharlotte is currently waiting in Mexico and will travel once a family commits to a 10-day trial.
