Story
Meet Riyo! Oh my goodness, we love this little guy! Riyo came to us from a very neglectful situation. He was quite scared and apprehensive but has spent some time in our foster care and has come so far! Riyo is a Poodle mix, around between one and two years of age. He is very sweet and affectionate with people but it can take him a moment to trust you. There is no aggression in him whatsoever, just some hesitation with strangers. Give him a minute, offer him a tasty treat and he will be your friend forever. Riyo is learning the world is a kind place where he is safe.  Riyo loves walks, loves to play with toys and is potty trained. Crate training is a work in progress. He needs a home with a yard and must have another dog in the home that he can follow around. This kind of social facilitation is very important to him at this time.  Riyo has not lived with small children but we have seen him with kids over 8 and he does very well. He has not been exposed to cats.  Riyo is vaccinated, neutered and chipped. His adoption fee is $525 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
Meet Camila – The Intelligent, Watchful Schnauzer Mix! This 1-year-5-month-old salt-and-pepper beauty is small (12.5 kg / 28 lbs), spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, leash-trained, and crate-trained for travel. Camila is great with kids and dogs, but she has a strong prey drive, so she’s not suitable for homes with cats. Her medium energy level and playful personality make her perfect for families who enjoy outdoor walks and interactive playtime. Camila is vibrant, fearless, and super intelligent—the natural pack leader of her siblings who also loves human connection. She’s loyal, attentive, and will alert her family to anything unusual, making her a perfect watchful companion. Her Schnauzer instincts shine in her cleverness, her obedience, and her devotion to her people. Camila’s ideal home: A loving family or adult who can provide companionship, attention, and daily interaction. She will thrive in a home where she’s involved in family activities, enjoys outdoor adventures, and can form a deep, lasting bond with her humans. Special Note: Camila has a strong bond with her sibling Brandon, who looks just like her. If you can consider a joint adoption, you could keep these siblings together! Camila’s journey from an abandoned 2-month-old puppy to a strong, loving, and resilient companion shows her heart and courage—she’s ready for her forever home. Located in Mexico and can travel with a commited 10-day trial family Adoption Fee: $600 or $1000 for both Camila and Brandon Apply for a 10-day trial: www.northwestwagrescue.org ##2733894##

Story
Zoey is the kind of dog who makes you feel like you’ve known her forever within the first few seconds of meeting her. At around 3 years old, she’s already mastered the art of being a gentle, loving companion, and she leans into every bit of affection like she’s been waiting her whole life for it. The moment you meet Zoey, she melts right into you for pets. There’s no hesitation, no guardedness—just immediate trust and a soft, happy surrender to love. She’s incredibly affectionate and calm, pressing in close and soaking up every bit of attention she can get. If you stop petting her, she gently reminds you that she’s still there, still hoping for more, with those sweet, loving eyes that say everything without a sound. Just see how loving she is for yourself in her YouTube video now https://youtu.be/PNGGG1a83g8?si=ez0HDddM_X9dzu5Q Zoey is truly one of those dogs who just wants to be near her people. She doesn’t ask for much—just closeness, kindness, and a warm hand to rest under. She’s gentle in everything she does, from the way she walks to the way she leans into you, like she’s careful not to take up too much space even though she deserves all of it. She loves kisses, and she gives back that same soft, affectionate energy in return. Her personality is pure sweetness—calm, loving, and endlessly devoted. She’s the kind of dog who makes a house feel softer just by being in it. Zoey is also wonderfully social and well-adjusted. In her foster home, she lives with multiple other dogs and does amazing with them. She coexists peacefully, politely, and confidently, showing just how well-mannered and easygoing she is. She’s also great with kids and has shown what a naturally gentle, patient soul she is around them. Whether it’s a busy household or a quiet one, Zoey adapts with ease and grace. Despite how much love she has to give, Zoey is never overwhelming—she’s steady, calm, and incredibly respectful. She just wants connection. She wants to be someone’s shadow, someone’s comfort, someone’s soft place to land at the end of the day. Zoey would truly do well in almost any home. Whether you’re looking for a cuddle buddy, a calm presence, or a loyal best friend who will adore you endlessly, she is ready. She brings a peaceful kind of joy—the kind that doesn’t demand attention but quietly fills every room she’s in. Story
Tinley is the kind of dog who makes you slow down and smile without even trying—she’s soft-eyed, sweet-hearted, and has the most effortlessly lovable, calm presence. With her gentle nature, quiet confidence, and the most adorable little no-tail wiggle that somehow still says “I’m happy to see you,” Tinley is pure comfort wrapped in a dog. She doesn’t demand attention—she invites it—and when you give her love, she takes it in the sweetest, most grateful way. Tinley is about four years old and is believed to be a schnauzer and husky mix—a perfect blend of brains, heart, and just the right amount of personality wrapped into one beautifully unique girl. Even without a tail, she’s an expert communicator. Her happiness shows in her soft expressions, relaxed body language, and the calm way she leans into you when she’s feeling content. That little tail-less charm only adds to her uniqueness and makes her even more special. Check out how chill she is in her YouTube video now https://youtu.be/sKLPrVjfs5c?si=GIpmUJBAbxJGCZU1 She carries herself with a calm, easy energy—never demanding, never overwhelming—just a quiet little companion who is perfectly content to simply be by your side. If you’re looking for a dog who will match your chill vibe, Tinley might just be your perfect match. She absolutely loves affection and will happily lean in for pets and cuddles when you offer them. Tinley is the kind of dog who appreciates love without needing to be the center of attention all the time. She enjoys her people, but she also enjoys doing her own thing—whether that’s relaxing, observing the world, or just soaking up a peaceful moment. She’s the ultimate “I’m here, I love you, but I’m also just vibing” kind of companion. When it comes to other dogs, Tinley has shown that she’s social in her own calm, respectful way. She has met a variety of dogs with different energy levels and handled those interactions beautifully. Tinley prefers polite, low-pressure interactions and isn’t particularly interested in dogs that are overly in her space or trying to constantly engage her in play. She’ll coexist peacefully, take her time, and simply do her own thing. Because of her personality, she would do best with another dog who respects her space and doesn’t expect constant playtime—or she would be perfectly happy as your one-and-only, soaking up all the love for herself. Tinley also met a cat and did well, showing a calm and respectful attitude. She may be able to live with a cat, though she would need further testing to be fully confirmed. Either way, her gentle and easygoing nature shines through in all of her interactions. While she hasn’t met kids yet, Tinley gives off every indication that she would do wonderfully in a home with children. She is calm, patient, and incredibly gentle, especially when taking treats—always soft and polite. Her demeanor suggests she would be a loving, steady presence in a family home. Tinley is also a fantastic leash walker. She enjoys her walks and moves at a nice, easy pace, making her a great companion for strolls around the neighborhood. And if you’re someone who enjoys a good car ride, Tinley is your girl—she’s a true passenger princess who settles in beautifully and enjoys the ride like a pro. In terms of lifestyle, Tinley is very adaptable. She could thrive in an apartment as long as she gets her daily walks and quality time with her person, or she could live happily in a house with a yard. Her easy temperament makes her a great fit for a variety of living situations—she’s just happy to be included and loved. Tinley isn’t the type of dog who needs constant action or high-energy play. Instead, she offers something just as special—peaceful companionship, gentle affection, and a calm presence that makes every moment feel a little more relaxed and a little more joyful. She’s the kind of dog who quietly wins your heart and becomes your little shadow in the sweetest way. If you’re searching for a laid-back, loving, and truly good girl with the best chill vibes—and the most charming little no-tail wiggle—Tinley is ready to meet you and start her next chapter. She’s got so much love to give—she’s just waiting for the right person to share her calm, happy world with. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
