FOREVER HOME NEEDEDMeet Jett!Jett is a 6-month-old, ~ 19 lb Schnauzer/Terrier mix puppy who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. He’s a very sweet, happy little guy who is still figuring out the world and gaining confidence.Jett is great with other dogs and would do best in a home with a confident, well-adjusted canine companion who can help show him the ropes. He has a gentle, submissive personality and really benefits from having a dog around who can help him feel safe and comfortable.Jett will walk on leash, although he needs some encouragement and confidence-building. Busy, loud environments can be overwhelming for him right now, so a quieter neighborhood would be ideal while he continues to gain confidence and learn that the world is a fun place.As with any puppy, Jett will need a family committed to starting from scratch with training, house manners, socialization, structure, and all the other things that help a puppy grow into their best adult dog. He will most likely be close to 25-30 lbs full grown.Jett is a sweet, gentle boy with so much potential. With the right home, a confident canine role model, and people willing to help him build his confidence, he’ll make a wonderful companion! Buddy was my late sister’s dog. She passed a year and a half ago. Then my dad took custody of him and my dad passed a few months ago. I was the only one left, but we are just too busy to give buddy the life he deserves. I am a single mom, my twins are seniors this year and they will be off to college next. I also take care of my mom. I have a very full plate. He is a laid back dog, will always alert you when someone is at the door. I have no yard, no where for him to play. He is depressed. And I can’t help him right now.
