Story
Meet Whiskers, a lively Schnauzer and Aussie Mix who is sure to bring joy to any home. He is very playful, and his sweet disposition makes him a great companion for snuggling up on the couch! Whiskers has a unique sense of humor that's sure to make you laugh. He's a 25–30-pound bundle of love with a long, scruffy white and chocolate coat that's just begging to be petted. At nine months old, he's a young adult, but he's got the energy and spirit of a puppy! He gets along with dogs but not cats! Whiskers is looking for a family that will appreciate his fun-loving personality and give him the love he deserves! Adopt Whiskers and let him fill your life with laughter and love. (ME, 2/16/24)     **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption: $395 which covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip and an Alabama State Health Certificate.   Transport, if needed  $160   We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip . We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs.  May 14, 2024, 12:09 am

Her foster mom believes she may even excel at agility work! She also LOVES car rides and kids. She would be a wonderful companion for any type of family.Behavior and Training:Despite her young age, Stella is already potty trained and hasn't had any accidents in the house. She's quick to go potty, making bathroom breaks a breeze. While she's not a fan of her crate, Stella is learning that it's her safe space. She much prefers being with her human family, whom she adores.Stella is super friendly and loves to play with other dogs, although she may get a bit too excited when meeting new ones. Heartworm disease is transmitted to a dog through a bite from an infected mosquito producing a positive test in six months. OPH will treat the dog and provide two weeks of recovery time prior to adoption. Potential adopters will receive detailed information on the disease and their role in completing the recovery process from OPH’s heartworm coordinator. Story
Jensen is a 10 year old male schnauzher-chihuahua, born in Texas. I've had him since he was 13 weeks old. Jensen is very friendly towards older kids and adults. He loves quality time, is active, and has been a good companion for me over the past decade. Unfortunately our 3 year old is severely allergic to cats and dogs. We've had our son on medication for the past two years. However, his allergy reaction has gotten much worse, causing breathing issues at night. Looking for a good home for Jensen.
