Story
Hello, My name is Pilar. I’m a gray tabby stripped cat between 2 and 3 years old, although you wouldn’t know it to look at me since I’m so petite. I’m looking for a new home because my owner died and the family who is watching after me now doesn’t have any room for another cat. I did try living with them for a few days but I’m an indoor/outdoor cat and I’m used to my independence. I’m cool with other cats but not if they’re gonna be bullies cause I go outside and they don’t. Probably why I get along with dogs. Right now it’s just me in the house by myself. I get lonely and bored. I’m really looking for a new family where folks are cool with me being a little independent. I’m not much of a cuddler and I only like pets when I’m in the mood. I am friendly though and I prefer a litter box and sleeping inside at night. I’m young and I have a lot of love still to give. I just need the right kind of family to take me in.

Story
Bonita is 5 years old and a very finicky cat. A tower and dry cat food goes with Bonita as she only eats one kind. Bonita lived in a home with other cats (relative of my sister-in-law). She gets along well with Mouse but didn’t get along with Toes or Lucy. In the beginning Bonita will hide and only come out for food, drink and relieve herself. At the time, I have been toilet training Bonita. She urinates in potty chair; however, she poops on the floor. I would use kitty litter but, Mouse spreads it all over the place. She would adapt back to using litter box quickly. Bonita is a very clean cat. I want Bonita in a safe and loving home.

Story
Andrew was rescued along with his sister, Cleo and brother Felix. The gang couldn’t “look” more different from each other, but they all share the same character trait, they are all super clingy and affectionate. Andrew’s attention technique is different from his siblings. Andrew prefers to sit, just sit, right in front of you or on your knee or on your computer. He makes no noise, doesn’t move, he just sits and stares you down until you love on him. It’s pretty effective Andrew is a classic dark brown/grey tabby

Story
Hello. My name is Harmonie, and I have just one question... Have you considered a career as a Professional Booty Scratcher? Experience isn't necessary. I'll provide all the training. You see, I came to the shelter as a stray, and I'm not gonna lie... this place is LOUD. There are dogs barking, people walking by, doors opening and closing... it's basically a never-ending concert that nobody bought tickets for. So at first, I was a little nervous. Can you blame me? But then... someone discovered The Spot™. A few booty scratches later... PURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Congratulations! You have successfully activated my internal motorboat. Once I know you're nice, I'm a super sweet girl who loves attention. I'll happily hang out with you, ask for pets, and reward your efforts with enough purring to register on the Richter scale. Now, before anyone gets carried away... literally... I'm more of a "love me while my feet stay on the ground" kind of gal. I enjoy affection. I enjoy booty scratches. I enjoy quality time. Being carried around like royalty? Respectfully... absolutely not. I'm perfectly capable of walking myself to the snack bowl. I'm scheduled to be spayed on July 14th, and after that I'll be officially ready to start my next chapter with a family who understands that the quickest way to my heart is through a few well-timed scratches near the base of my tail. My adoption fee is sponsored and reduced to just $40, and that includes my spay, vaccines, vet exam, fecal test for parasites, basic dewormer, and microchip. If you're looking for a sweet companion with a deluxe purr machine, excellent manners, and a strict "No Unnecessary Lifting" policy... I think we should meet. Call 256-362-5856 to schedule an appointment. Sincerely, Harmonie CEO of the Booty Scratch Appreciation Society July 9, 2026, 5:01 pm

Meet Nadia – Your New Favorite Roommate   Looking for a cat who's equal parts sweet, independent, and just a tiny bit opinionated? Meet Nadia! At 2½ years old, Nadia has perfected the art of balance. Most of the time she's a laid-back, chill girl who enjoys relaxing and keeping an eye on everything around her. But every now and then her playful side makes an appearance to remind you she's still young at heart! She enjoys attention and would love a home where she can be your loyal companion, nap supervisor, and occasional entertainment. The best part? Nadia is already spayed and current on vaccines, so she's ready to go home today!   Her adoption fee is sponsored and reduced to just $40. If you'd like to meet Nadia, please call 256-362-5856 to schedule an appointment. She may be the missing piece your home has been waiting for!   July 24, 2026, 4:01 pm

Story
WANTED: A Human With Better Judgment Than My Last One Hi. I'm Meg. I'm estimated to be about 1 year old, which is honestly WAY too young to have already lived through a whole season of Dumpster: The Reality Show.Someone decided the perfect place for me and my babies was... behind a motel dumpster. Classy, right?  Zero stars. Would not recommend. Thankfully, some kind humans found us before we had to start paying rent to the raccoons. The good news? My kittens are all grown up and old enough to be weaned. They've officially moved out of Mom's Tiny Apartment, and next week I'm getting spayed, which means this mama is RETIRING. No more diaper duty. No more midnight feedings. No more toddlers climbing on my head while I'm trying to nap. I'm being promoted from Full-Time Mom to Full-Time Princess, and frankly, it's the career change I've been waiting for.Now it's my turn to be spoiled. Everyone here says I'm incredibly sweet. I love people, I enjoy attention, and I'm ready to trade dumpster life for couch life. I'm looking for a family that believes a queen belongs on a soft blanket instead of behind a motel. My adoption fee is sponsored and reduced to just $40, and that includes my spay, vaccines, vet exam, fecal test for parasites, basic dewormer, and microchip. So... what do you say? Let's make the motel dumpster the weird backstory we laugh about years from now while I'm stretched across your bed pretending I pay the mortgage. If you'd like to meet me, please call 256-362-5856 to schedule an appointment. Love, Meg (Former Dumpster Diva. Future Professional Couch Potato.) July 9, 2026, 10:22 am
