Story
Simon is a handsome boy, affectionate and personable. An accomplished hunter and indoor/outdoor cat, he would do great as a barn cat, keeping the vermin population down. He's an orange tabby with a pale, soft, short coat, with a sprinkling of ragdoll and Bengal in his lineage. (We got him as a kitten from a family friend who used to breed cats.) He gets along with two of our other cats just fine, but has beef with the third one, and occasionally gets into fights with her. This has led to territorial disputes and peeing outside the litter box to mark territory. We think that, in the right home, and with plenty of time outside to wander, hunt, and lounge about, Simon would be happier and better behaved. He is SUPER friendly and outgoing and a favorite fixture among our neighbors. He loves to just hang out nearby his humans, especially outside in the backyard. If you're looking for a new buddy who is both independent and loyal, he's your guy.

Story
Pepper came into our lives in a very special way. Her mom, Poppi — a friendly neighborhood stray — slowly began trusting us after we moved in. During her pregnancy, we let her inside on hot and rough nights, and one morning she decided our guest room was the safest place to give birth to her litter of four kittens.Pepper is the tiny runt and only baby sister of the litter, but she makes up for it with a huge personality. She’s brave, curious, adventurous, and always trying to keep up with her bigger brothers. We’ve cared for Pepper since the day she was born, and she has grown into such a sweet and playful little kitten.💛 We would especially love for Pepper to be adopted together with her brother, Socks, since the two are very close.

During her pregnancy, we let her inside on hot and rough nights, and one morning she chose our guest room as the safe place to give birth to her litter of four kittens.Socks is the oldest brother of the litter and is easy to recognize by the little white “socks” on his paws. He’s the most timid of the siblings, but still very curious and adventurous once he feels comfortable. We’ve cared for Socks since the day he was born, and he has grown into a gentle, sweet, and playful little kitten.💛 We would especially love for Socks to be adopted together with his sister, Pepper, since the two are very close.

Story
Sweetest and cutest baby boy. Unfortunately, he hates our other cat. He needs to be in a home where he is the only cat - where he can get lots of attention and snuggles. He does super cute head butts, purrs very loudly, and is super sweet. We don’t want to rehome him, but both of our cats are miserable and so we have no choice.

Story
We have had Kobe for 13 years. He has moved across the country with us and to many homes after that. He is declawed and friendly. We are sad that he cannot come with us but know we will find him a good home.

Good with dogs,
Story
I rescued them while I was living in Texas at the time (August 9, 2025.) They were 7 weeks old. I moved back to San Diego the end of last year. Luna & Leo are male siblings. I found out Luna was a boy around 6 months and decided to just keep the name. They are 10.5-11 months old. Leo is a little more social than Luna. They open up over time around others. They’re both really chill and play with each other from time to time. They have not been neutered nor vaccinated.

Story
Duke was introduced to me as a 6 month old stray. He has a strong gentle personality. He’s indifferent towards dogs and cats. Duke tried his best to be a fully indoor cat, but he does best as an indoor/outdoor cat. He will yodel if he is kept inside for too long! He has a beautifully melodic voice with a deep tone. Duke stays near the house and loves a routine. He eats about 3oz of wet food or 1/3 cups of dry food once a day. Since he is a male I recommend adding water to the food for hydration. Dukie is the best all around cat. He likes attention and will walk away when he’s done. He lets you pick him up, he lets you pet him. He is very clear in communication for what he wants/needs. Duke is a healthy cat, born in 2017, is microchipped, and on topical flea medication.Duke would love a quiet home as a single pet or with a calm companion.
