Story
We adopted Miso before we had another baby. He’s a sweet cat when he’s in the mood, and he’d really enjoy a home that can give him all the love and attention he needs. He’s playful and gets the zoomies at night! We’re thinking about rehoming him because we have two little ones who might scratch and bite him when they try to play. He’d be perfect in a place with older kids.

Story
Name: Kai Age: 6 (turning 7 soon) Breed: Tabby Location: North Park, San Diego The Good Stuff: Very Intelligent: He’s smarter than your average cat and needs mental stimulation. Social Butterfly: Loves people and gets along great with other animals. He wants to be where the action is. Playful: Still has plenty of energy and loves to play. Special Considerations: Medical History: He has a history of a herniated disc. He is currently stable, but his tail has limited movement. He needs a home that understands he shouldn't be doing extreme jumping (like from high fences). Why Rehoming: He is desperate for outdoor time. I live in a condo that strictly prohibits it. The Ideal Home: He needs "safe" outdoor access (like an enclosed yard or catio) and ideally an animal friend to keep him company.

Story
Biscuit was found outside my work with a couple other stray cats looking for food. He was very young and very sweet. I decided to take him to get neutered at the Humane Society and vaccinated. He was so cute and sweet I fell in love and I could not put him back outside. He is looking for his forever home. He is beautiful and loves to cuddle, play and look outside the windows at nature or to be pet. Would do well supervised on leash or catio outside. He loves to wrestle and play with other playful cats or kittens. He eats dry or wet food. His ideal home would be with another playful male cat or be able to go outside safely or have someone play with him daily. More recently he’s been indoors due to coyotes and he seems perfectly happy as long as I spend time playing with him unless I have a playful foster cat. He’s perfectly happy just playing with another cat as well.

Story
Hi! My name is Bently and here’s a little more about me:My JourneyI’m a community/colony cat who is now getting a chance at indoor life. I’ve been staying in a quiet condo setup at my foster home, so I’m still learning what it means to fully relax and trust in a home environment. My Social LifeOther cats? I haven’t had much interaction with other cats yet, so my preferences are still being discovered.Dogs? I haven’t met dogs.Kids? I would likely do best with calm, patient, cat-savvy humans who understand giving space and time.My social circle, summed up:I’m on the reserved side, but I appreciate gentle company and do best when I’m allowed to warm up at my own pace.My PersonalityI’m a sweet but cautious girl who takes a little time to feel comfortable. Once I do, my gentle nature begins to show. Because I’ve had limited interaction so far, my foster is still learning all my quirks—but I’ve shown that I’m calm, observant, and quietly affectionate in my own way.I Enjoy…Peaceful environmentsCozy, safe spots where I can observeGentle attention once I feel secureI’m Not a Fan Of…Being rushed or overwhelmed. Slow movements and patience help me feel safe and confident. What Makes Me SpecialI sport a distinctively bent tail that gives him a unique silhouette and extra charm. I’m a beautiful tuxedo cat with classic black-and-white markings that perfectly match my elegant, understated personality. My Perfect HomeI’d thrive in a calm, low-traffic home with someone who understands that trust takes time. If you enjoy earning a cat’s affection and watching their confidence bloom, I could be a very rewarding companion.

Story
Hi! My name is Leia and here is a bit more about me :My JourneyMy life before foster care is mostly unknown. I did spend time in a home with dogs and children, but it was very loud and overwhelming for me, and I shut down in that environment. In a calmer space, I’m able to decompress, feel secure, and slowly let my true personality shine. My Social LifeMy brother Luke is my safe place. I follow him everywhere and need to be touching him when I sleep — his presence helps me feel brave and grounded. Because of how closely bonded we are, I would need to be adopted with him.Dogs and children are not a good fit for me, as they increase my anxiety. In a quiet, adult home with predictable routines, I can take my time warming up and learning that I’m safe.My PersonalityI’m cuddly, cautious, and very food-motivated. I may be reserved at first, but I’m always observing. With patience and consistency (and a few treats), I slowly open up and show my affectionate side. Once trust is built, I become incredibly attached to my people.I Enjoy…Watching birds from a sunny windowChuru tubes (the fastest way to my heart)Cozy naps on a heated blanketQuiet moments spent relaxing near my favorite beingsI’m Not a Fan Of…Children, dogs, sudden loud noises, or chaotic environments. Calm, gentle energy helps me feel secure and confident. What Makes Me SpecialOnce I decide you’re safe, I turn into a total Velcro cat. Just like with my brother, I’ll glue myself to you — curling up close, cuddling often, and soaking up as much quiet affection as possible. My Perfect HomeI’m looking for a peaceful, consistent home where I can stay with my brother Luke. I’m not especially play-driven — I prefer relaxation, warmth, and companionship. With patience and understanding, I’ll reward you with deep loyalty, constant cuddles, and a heart full of trust.
