Story
Coconut, nickname Coco, is 3 years old and I've had him since he was a kitten. He is a very chill and loving cat. He loves scratches on the side of his face and on the top of his head. He can be playful and will sometimes gets the zoomies, but he is usually just lounging about for most of the day. He enjoys brushing against the legs of everyone and tends to be a very happy kitty. He is however easily frightened by loud noises and loud people. Coco will jump on beds and couches but isn't known to jump on counters. I unfortunately can't keep him because I him going to college and can't find anyone willing to watch him. I just want him to find a stable home with a family that will properly love and care for him.

Story
Hello, I got Pebbles from a local vet who found her abandoned on the side of the road in a box with her siblings and no mother. I have had her since she was 6 weeks old, unfortunatly my circumstances have changed over the years and I feel do to my own shelfishness her quality of life has gone down severly because she is terrified of my parents dog (understandably). She spends her day in my bedroom, which isnt very big. I feel awful as since I have a full time job under lots of stress I have no time to play with her anymore. When I first got her I was in a relationship with my boyfriend who also had a cat and they were close and played with one another, we were together for 6 years of her life, but after we broke up I had to move back home. Due to inactivity she has gained weight and has stopped cleaning her butt, I just feel shes need a place were she can at least not be stuck in a room all day and possibly a friend.

Story
Charley is approximately 2.5 years old he's affectionate, laid-back, loves getting attention and being petted. Charley is not really a lap cat but he can't be moved from one location to the next. Charley is not declawed. I will provide his tall scratching post, his enclosed litter box, food and water bowl. I got Charley from Paws and rescue about a year and a half ago. I have to move in a few months and I am unable to take him with me. Charley doesn't show much interest in traditional cat toys but he does love the fishing rod and he likes to play with a scrunchie. One of his quirky habits is scratching the side of the litter box and he does get pretty vocal around 4:00 to 6:00 in the morning. He does have a tendency to jump in the bathtub so you may want to keep the bathroom door closed. I give him friskies dry food as well as wet food. Sometimes I mix them together and just a tad of water in it. He is a very sweet cat and I am going to miss him. But hoping to find him an awesome home.

⚡ Meet Taz! ⚡ Warning: Side effects of adopting Taz may include spontaneous laughter, random zoomies, and finding tiny toy mice in your shoes. 😹 Taz is a tiny tornado wrapped in the cutest tabby stripes you’ve ever seen! One minute he’s scaling the cat tree like he’s training for the Kitten Olympics, and the next he’s flopped over for a well-earned nap like he didn’t just cause absolute chaos.

Story
Penny 💰 Everyone keeps walking past her because she’s sitting so quietly. Penny isn’t the kitten climbing the cage or demanding the spotlight. She’s the girl who waits. She watches. She hopes. And every Saturday, she wonders if this will be the day someone finally stops… and sees her. The funny thing about pennies is that people often overlook them. Until they realize how lucky they are to find one. Penny is gentle, easygoing, and full of quiet love. She doesn’t need to be the loudest cat in the room to leave the biggest mark on your heart. So next time you see a Penny… Pick her up. She just might be your lucky charm. 🩶🍀

Story
Meet Mochi! 🐾 Breed: Domestic Shorthair Mix Age: 1 year old Size: Medium Status: Female If you're looking for a sweet companion with a gentle heart and a quiet sparkle of courage, I'd love to introduce myself. My name is Mochi, and I'm a one-year-old girl hoping to find the forever home where I can truly belong. I'm naturally friendly and enjoy spending time with people, although I may be a little reserved when meeting someone new. A little patience goes a long way with me, and once I feel comfortable, I'll happily greet you, lean against you, follow you from room to room, and soak up gentle head pats, ear scratches, and kind conversations. Life is all about enjoying the little things! I have fun chasing fuzzy mice, giggle balls, and crinkle toys, and I love hunting games, bird watching from the window, exploring, and relaxing near my favorite humans. When it's time to rest, you'll usually find me curled up in a cozy bed, tucked under furniture, or enjoying a peaceful corner where I can recharge. My favorite rewards include Churu treats, Delectables, and Temptations, and they're a wonderful way to earn my trust while we build our friendship. I'm litter trained, enjoy a regular quality diet, and have lower exercise needs, making me an easy companion to fit into a loving home. I'm still learning that new places can be safe, so I may need a little time to adjust after adoption. With kindness, encouragement, and a little patience, I'm ready to blossom into a loyal friend who will treasure every quiet moment we share. If you have room in your heart and home for a loving young cat searching for her forever family, I'd love the chance to meet you. Come visit me and see if we're the perfect match! For more information on how to adopt, please call the shelter at 863 324 5227 to see if this pet is still available for adoption. Then come to the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 10:30 to 6 Tuesday through Friday and 10:30 to 4 on Saturday, closed 1–2 for lunch and the last Friday of every month.
