Story
Ollie has a very sweet side to him, very affectionate, and even a lap cat at times. He is a volunteer favorite for sure! This handsome fellow was found living outside, and we believe he's about four years old. When he first came to the rescue, he was not very happy. But we've seen a shift in him, and he's doing so much better! Ollie would probably still be most happy being your only pet, so he can be king of his castle. Come meet this cutie, and when he gazes at you with his big green eyes, you'll surely want to take him home.

Story
Casey has many different sides she can be playful , lazy, just want love , or not want to be around anyone at all in one days time. She is vocal when she is looking for love (wanting pets)! She loves almost all toys and chases about anything that moves. Someone had found a stray that had kittens and we decided to help them out by taking a kitten. Three years later she is still the same . We now have a newborn that is allergic to ;pet dander; and we are having to rehome 3 pets. Unfortunately everyone we know is not interested in an inside cat. She does fine with my 8 year old daughter , 10 , & 14 year old nieces however hides from groups/company and little kids. She loves our mastiff but hasn’t met any other dogs. We already re-homed Mia our other cat and she did not care for her. She has thrived since Mia has left.

Story
I started taking care of him since about Thanksgiving, the owner states he was born middle of May 2025, making him 8 months and 1 week. The original owner abandoned him aswell as 2 others and Ive been left to care for them. Soot is a little skiddish to being picked up and he likes to run from everything but still cuddles my dogs aswell as nuzzling when he wants, hes very vocal and hasnt shown interest in my female cat yet. Please help give this this little boy a new home, I cannot give him what he needs

Story
This is Lexi. A quiet, shy 7 yr petite, older girl that needs a quiet forever home. She has been at Hart Co. Humane Society far too long. Really just due to her being shy. Please come and visit her to see just how sweet she is. I’m Lexi, and I’ve got the most beautiful big eyes. One of my eyes was sadly damaged due to an infection before I was rescued, but that hasn’t stopped me from being a sweet and loving cat. I came to the sanctuary with my kittens, and I’m happy to say they’ve all been adopted. Now, I’m looking for my own forever family. I’m a little shy at first, but once I get to know you, I’ll be the loyal and affectionate companion you’ve been searching for. Come meet me and see if we’re the perfect match. I can’t wait to find a family who will love me just as I am. Kittens and Cats are spayed or neutered, feline leukemia/FIV negative, microchipped, appropriately vaccinated and treated for parasites. They are available to inside only homes where they will not be declawed. Applications to adopt can be found at harthumane.org.
