Story
Grapefruit is the sweetest!! Very playful. She has no tail. It was surgically removed before I adopted her. I am 82 years of age and fell due to her walking between my legs while walking. This is the only reason I am looking to re-home her. I feel that, for my health and for her needing to be able to play at will, it is best if I re-home her. I will provide all food and supplies that I have left for her.

Story
Ollie has a very sweet side to him, very affectionate, and even a lap cat at times. He is a volunteer favorite for sure! This handsome fellow was found living outside, and we believe he's about four years old. When he first came to the rescue, he was not very happy. But we've seen a shift in him, and he's doing so much better! Ollie would probably still be most happy being your only pet, so he can be king of his castle. Come meet this cutie, and when he gazes at you with his big green eyes, you'll surely want to take him home.

Story
Luna is a compassionate little girl. She was born Sept 14th of 2025. Their back story is their mama was a stray and she was struggling to feed them so I brought them in and helped. She is such a lover and is more of a protective kitty. She plays all day long. She’s more independent but when she wants loves she will follow you everywhere you go purring and drooling along the way. She has been around small dogs and other cats of different ages and she does fine. It takes her a couple days to warm up to a new animal in the home but she has never been aggressive or attacked anyone. She is house trained

Story
Eclipse is 4 months. Born Sept 14th of 2025. She was part of a litter of 5. Stray. I rescued the mama and babies because they were dying and mama was malnourished! She is fully potty trained. She is super lovey and sweet. She loves kids and other cats. She has been around a small dog. And does well. She has been dewormed but no shots and is still intact. She doesn’t scratch the furniture and loves to sleep up high on her perch or in your arms. She gives kisses and hugs. There is never a moment she isn’t purring and drooling when near you. She will even greet you in the bathroom. She is allowed to go outside and she loves to sit and bask in the sun on the porch or play around. She loves lots of toys and things to chase. She would be perfect for a family!

Story
I adopted 5yo Jasmine from GCAC in Nov 2025 as a companion for my adult Kitty when I go on short trips. She fit in very quickly: curious, sweet, well-behaved, LOVES playing with toys, has the cutest kitten's meow. She likes him, he doesn't like her, even after 3 months. HE is the problem, not Jasmine. As his behavior continues to worsen she remains calm & composed. I want them both to be happy! To get you going I can provide: -supply of her current food/treats -bed & blanket w/her scent -cat scratcher "castle" in the photo, she loves being in there -Feliway diffuser +60-day supply -all the toys she loves, solo & interactive! -spare litter box/10# bag litter You need a tall scratching post, minimum 20" tall, since she is a long cat! She was overweight from her previous owner's feeding habits but is slimming down with our current food regimen. The shelter told me she doesn't like to be picked up/carried. IDK if it is from fear or pain, but I abided by their word.

Story
This is Lexi. A quiet, shy 7 yr petite, older girl that needs a quiet forever home. She has been at Hart Co. Humane Society far too long. Really just due to her being shy. Please come and visit her to see just how sweet she is. I’m Lexi, and I’ve got the most beautiful big eyes. One of my eyes was sadly damaged due to an infection before I was rescued, but that hasn’t stopped me from being a sweet and loving cat. I came to the sanctuary with my kittens, and I’m happy to say they’ve all been adopted. Now, I’m looking for my own forever family. I’m a little shy at first, but once I get to know you, I’ll be the loyal and affectionate companion you’ve been searching for. Come meet me and see if we’re the perfect match. I can’t wait to find a family who will love me just as I am. Kittens and Cats are spayed or neutered, feline leukemia/FIV negative, microchipped, appropriately vaccinated and treated for parasites.
