Story
Link was found as a very young kitten, roughly 4 weeks old in 2015. He is a lover boy who has no concept of personal space when it comes to cuddling. He is never aggressive nor distructive. He has a way of making himself feel like a full grown tiger laying on you but just wants to be near you. He is standoffish of new to him animals/pets he doesn't know but once he knows they are safe, he just kinda does his own thing and cuddles with them when it's time for bed. He is a babysitter so he likes to follow children around the yard as they play to be sure they are safe. Unfortunately, our new environment/location and family dynamic has those with allergies towards him so he isn't able to stay in the bedroom and the new to him dogs aren't cat friendly so he is stuck upstairs by himself and I want him to be able to get the love and attention this sweet boy deserves.

Story
Cheeto is a sweet but very skittish orange tabby who was rescued as a kitten off the middle of the highway. He loves his cat brother Bengie, is very playful and very quick to roll over and show his belly for rubs and pets. He is very fearful of my dog (she has not hurt him but lunges at him and scares him) and i think he would do very well in a home without a dog. He does not have any known health issues, but when we got him he had a little bent nubby tail. We’re not sure if he was born with it like that or if it was broken off. It doesn’t seem to bother him. He’s fully litter trained (even goes behind his brother who does not bury his feces to cover for him) and loves window watching, chasing string toys and balls and mice. He needs good comfy places to hide but when i come home from work he is quick to run and greet me. He is not really vocal at all but purrs like a motor. Some nights he loves to sleep with me and some nights he doesn’t. He’s weird and picky but overall lovey.

Story
Bengie is a sweet and shy gray tabby who has been my little friend for a couple of years now. I rescued him from someone who had moved him to a cage outside and to this day he has no interest in going back outdoors, he is fully about that domesticated life. He loves cuddling and window watching, he will tolerate dogs with no issue but honestly does not enjoy living with one. He has an orange brother Cheeto (a younger tabby) who he plays with and sleeps with, they are very close. He was diagnosed with FIC and has been on a prescription urinary diet to prevent an episode. His biggest behavioral issues are he does not bury his feces (but is otherwise fully litter trained), and he does scratch on corners of couches and beds. He loves high perches and cat trees. He likes playing in catnip and enjoys treats. He’s shy but once he comes around he’s very sweet.

Story
Tigger is a very sweet and affectionate cat. He loves to sit by the window and nap in the sun. When he wants to be pet he'll crawl into your lap and make sure all your attention is on him. However, he'll try to get your attention in some not so human friendly ways. For example he will jump up on the tv and block it, go on the countertops and knock things off of surfaces to get your attention. He is not the smallest cat, his weight alone has destroyed a few surfaces. His favorite things to knock off is glass and ceramics. Even when the items are pushed back, he finds a way to knock them off. He's a smart cat, he knows he's not supposed to be in those areas. If you catch him, he'll jump down and run away. Otherwise he really is a good cat, he loves to hangout, and he plays catch! He does not seem anxious about his environment, so I think what he needs is a family with kids or other pets to redirect his energy.

Story
Meet Ditto, your future snuggle buddy and certified chunky monkey! This buff-and-white cutie is a total lover boy who lives for the simple joys in life: a full belly, lots of pets, and long, cozy naps. If there’s a warm lap or a soft blanket nearby, Ditto will happily claim it as his throne. Ditto has been raised with his siblings and his sweet momma, so he’s full of love and knows how to share it. He adores companionship—whether it’s curling up next to you after a long day or purring contentedly while you give him all the attention he deserves. With his affectionate personality and laid-back charm, Ditto is ready to bring warmth, cuddles, and a little extra cuteness into your home. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving kitten who will quickly become your best friend, Ditto is your guy. He would love to be adopted with his mom Meowth, because they share a sweet bond. --- The Pre-adoption process allows us to get the adoption process started early, even though vetting isn’t complete. Per the Department of Agriculture rules and regulations, The Kitten Rescue Project is responsible for vetting all of its kittens before adoption is final. At this time the kitten is not fully vetted because he/she is too young. We expect vetting will be completed around May 8th, but could be delayed a couple weeks longer if he/she does not meet the weight requirement by our vet. Once vetted, our kittens are dewormed, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped. Our feline adoption fee is $120, which assists in offsetting but does not entirely cover the expenses incurred for the animal's care and completion of essential veterinary care. We do not place cats in homes based on the order of application received. Instead, we prioritize the earliest applications that are the best match for the kitten. We will prioritize applicants within a 2 hour drive of Atlanta, GA to help minimize the kitten's stress during transport. Our adoption process does not happen in a single day. Typically, it can take at least a week for applications to move from submission to adoption. We reserve the right to deny any applicant for any reason.
