Story
Link was found as a very young kitten, roughly 4 weeks old in 2015. He is a lover boy who has no concept of personal space when it comes to cuddling. He is never aggressive nor distructive. He has a way of making himself feel like a full grown tiger laying on you but just wants to be near you. He is standoffish of new to him animals/pets he doesn't know but once he knows they are safe, he just kinda does his own thing and cuddles with them when it's time for bed. He is a babysitter so he likes to follow children around the yard as they play to be sure they are safe. Unfortunately, our new environment/location and family dynamic has those with allergies towards him so he isn't able to stay in the bedroom and the new to him dogs aren't cat friendly so he is stuck upstairs by himself and I want him to be able to get the love and attention this sweet boy deserves.

I am not sure how old she is. We got her from another family few years ago. We will be moving soon, and can’t keep her. I do know that her previous owners got her spayed, and she is very good with kids and other animals.

Story
Hello World, meet Vincent. He is one of the Artists litter and was named after Vincent Van Gogh. He is a very flashy and handsome light tabby with beautiful white markings. Vincent and his siblings came to Salty Paws as tiny babies after their Mom was hit by a car and they were found wandering and lost. Despite what they have been through, they paw-some, playful, friendly, super snuggly and oh so fun. They are well-adjusted, social little ones. Although not a requirement, to continue Vincent's social development, we would love him to go to a home with one of his siblings (Theo, Rosa, Frida or Georgia) or into a home with an existing cat-friendly feline looking for a special little brother. He seems to get along great with everyone. Vincent is about 8 weeks old and is waiting to get to get neutered and receive all of his kitten-appropriate vetting (vaccinations and FIV/FeLk test), but we encourage potential adopters to consider a foster-to-adopt situation. This helps young kittens get into loving homes and bond with their new families sooner in their development. Salty Paws works with you to finalize vetting and make sure it a great fit before doing the final adoption contact. If you are interested in adopting Vincent, kindly fill out the following, easy online application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SPLC/Cat For the safety of our animals, home visits are also a requirement of adoption, including a foster-to-adopt situation, but we make it as unobtrusive and convenient as we can. Thank you for considering a rescue kitten!

Story
Meet Rosa, a sweet and adorable little torbie girl who is one of five kittens (two boys and three girls) in the Artists litter. A work of art herself, she was named after French animal painter, Rosa Bonheur. They came to Salty Paws after their Mom was hit by a car and they were found wandering and lost. She is a unique and beautiful kitten with a coat filled with all kinds of soft colors. Despite what they have endured, this entire litter is awesome, playful, friendly, super snuggly and oh so fun. They are well-adjusted, social little ones. Although not a requirement, to continue her social development, we would love Rosa to go to a home with one of her siblings (Vincent, Theo, Frida or Georgia) or into a home with an existing cat-friendly feline looking for a little pal. Rosa is about 8 weeks old and is waiting to get to get spayed and receive all of her kitten-appropriate vetting (vaccinations and FIV/FeLk test), but we encourage potential adopters to consider a foster-to-adopt situation. This helps young kittens get into loving homes and bond with their new families sooner in their development. Salty Paws works with you to finalize vetting and make sure it a great fit before doing the final adoption contact. If you are interested in adopting little Ms. Rosa, kindly fill out the following, easy online foster-to-adopt application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SPLC/Cat For the safety of our animals, a home visit is also a requirement of adoption, including a foster-to-adopt situation, but we make it as unobtrusive and convenient as we can. Story
Play Yard Jon is currently in the adoption cattery with our charity partner, Petsmart of Hilton Head (430 William Hilton Parkway). Come visit him during their retail hours! This ruggedly handsome guy with the gorgeous swirly tabby coat is a renovated street cat who quite frankly, wasn’t much of a fighter to begin with. He is clearly a lover, not a fighter. So he needed a bit of patching up when his Foster Mom (a professor in Savannah) found him looking for a kind soul to help him out. Within minutes, he had her wrapped around his paw. Although he has perfected the “grumpy face,” he is an EXTREMELY nice cat who is soaking up all the comforts and love of indoor living. Salty Paws is working with his Foster Mom to find him his epic furever home. We all have to work together to end this epidemic of abandoned animals. What we know is that Jon has excellent house manners, uses his litter box faithfully and is now healthy, neutered and has all his vaccines. He is estimated at 1-2 years old and is ready to begin his next chapter. Jon is super snuggly, smart and perceptive; and if you want an adoring lap cat, he is your man. Bring snacks and a blankie, because he is READY! He still has eight lives left! While we don’t know how Jon is with other cats, we suspect he would do great with a cat who is kind to him and/or maybe a cat-friendly dog. It is all a matter of a proper assimilation and we have volunteers to help you with that. If you are interested in adopting Play Yard Jon, please fill out our easy, online application, which can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SPLC/Cat For the safety of our animals, home checks are also a requirement of adoption, but we make that as convenient and unobtrusive as we can.

Story
Hello World, meet our hunk of burnin' love named Wilson! Like so many cats we have, this ridiculously sweet fellow was left behind when his owners moved and left him to fend for himself. Well, his idea of doing that was to befriend everyone he met! All the Salty Paws volunteers adore Wilson and anyone would be lucky to adopt him. The photographer-volunteer was just out of surgery and Wilson seemed to know this and was loving and oh-so gentle. So we believe he is a very intuitive cat. He is a cuddly, brown tabby with all kinds of beautiful browns and the most gorgeous yellow eyes. He is outstanding with other cats and may have potential to be buddies with a cat-friendly dog (he did great with the Salty Paws' resident cat-kind dog). He is easy going, adaptable and should do great in any loving, cat-centric indoor home. Wilson is estimated at about 2-3 years old, weighs in a bit over 11 lbs., eats pretty much anything you give him, has outstanding litter box habits and great house manners. He is SO ready for his furever family. Is that you? To adopt Wilson, kindly fill out our required, easy, online application, which can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SPLC/Cat For the safety of our animals, a home visit/check (in person or video, depending on location) is a requirement of adopting, but we make it as unobtrusive and convenient to the adopter(s) as possible. THANK YOU for consider a rescue cat (and a paw-some one at that)!
