Story
Mika was rescued from under a trailer. She’s shy and skidding at first but will warm up and caress against you! She sleeps all day and is a low energy cat. She enjoys sunbathing and quiet dark areas. My biggest hope is to find a safe and loving home for Mika. A patient owner who will treat her like family!

Story
Hello World, meet Mork! This friendly and adorable little Tabby fellow with the white paws was found as a stray along with his sister, Mindy (also adoptable) by a kind volunteer on the south end of Hilton Head Island. She opened her heart and home to the two wayward siblings and did an awesome job, so now they are ready to find their furever families! Mork is very social, outgoing and always down for a cuddle. He loves playing, eating and all things kitten-centric. He really will make anyone a phenomenal new feline family member. Someone is going to be lucky to adopt this special boy. Is that you? Mork is great with other cats, so can be adopted into a home with a cat friend looking for a new pal, with his sister Mindy (the love each other but are not bonded) or as your one and only. He is resilient, adaptable and easy going for such a young guy. He is about 4-5 months old, great with his litter box habits and isn’t picky about food. He loves treats and is looking forward to a loving, indoor home where he will be a spoiled and beloved family member. If you are interested in adopting Mork, kindly fill out our required application, which can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SPLC/Cat For the safety of our animals, a home check is a requirement of adoption, but we make this as unobtrusive and convenient as possible. Thank you for considering a rescue kitten!

Story
Meet Phelps, the tiny champion with the heart of a gold-medalist. This brave little 3-month-old boy earned his name after the Olympian for a very special reason — he was found in the water, fighting with everything he had. And just like a true athlete, he pushed through, recovered, and came out stronger than ever. Today, Phelps is a bright, affectionate kitten who brings joy everywhere he goes. He’s playful, curious, and always ready to explore his surroundings with that same determined spirit that helped him overcome his rough start. Whether he’s chasing toys, curling up for snuggles, or showing off his adorable purr, he does it all with the confidence of a champion. Phelps is ready to dive into his next big adventure — a loving home. If you’re looking for a resilient, sweet, and spirited companion, this little Olympian-in-training might just be your perfect match.

Courtesy post, please contact Amy with any questions or interest tinydancerla@gmail.com, 310-699-7232   Meet Frankie and Sawyer: Two Alley Kittens Ready for a New Chapter These siblings were trapped in an alley, and they’re now looking for a forever indoor home. Frankie (male neutered) is spunky, playful, confident, and curious, with stunning markings and a quick mind that keeps you on your toes. Sawyer (female spayed) is shy and soulful, the kind of kitten who will curl up in your lap and gaze up at you with her big, mournful eyes. They’ve come so far in such a short time, but they’ll need patience, time, and a gentle home to decompress and learn that the world, and people, can be safe. The payoff? Watching them bloom into the companions they were meant to be. They are bonded siblings who have leaned on each other through every scary moment, and they will need to be adopted together. They use the litter box like champs, and Frankie is already showing off how clever he is. He will greet you with purrs and let you rub his belly as long as you’re willing to play. Sawyer is still too watchful to let down her guard for a romp, but she will rest her head in your lap with a big sigh. If you’re the kind of adopter who looks forward to putting in the time and experiencing the joy of watching shy kittens learn to play and purr, Frankie and Sawyer might just be your next adventure. They are sterilized and current on vaccines.   They do like other cats.July 13, 2025, 4:24 pm

Story
Need a little sunshine in your life? Meet Sunburst! This beautiful boy is a lover and ready to brighten your day! I am a unique cat looking for a single person or couple who would only like to devote to me. I do not care to share my space with other cats, dogs or small children. I have a bit of anxiety which my foster mom has helped figure out for me. I am highly sensitive to changes in my environment. I will need some reassurance and adjustment time please. I may have a resting kitty face but I`m affectionate once l`ve picked you and gained my trust in you. I mean, who doesn`t love an orange kitty?! I`m really hoping my people find me soon so we can relax and watch the birds fly by!If you’d like to meet Sunburst, or do a sleepover with him, please fill out the application in the link. https://oneloveanimalrescue.com/pre-adoption-application/

Story
Does your cat need a best friend? Rag Tag might be for you!Rag Tag is a cat’s cat. He is not the most keen on being pet, receiving affection, or showing love. He plays with his cat (and dog) companions in the peripherals, sits in boxes out of your reach, and chases toys up and down the stairs. Rag Tag has even been known to steal a pair of socks to play with. Sometimes you’ll get lucky and he’ll let you pet him! But don’t expect it.He also does not come with a tail.No longer worry about your lonely kitty and put in an application for Rag Tag today. https://oneloveanimalrescue.com/pre-adoption-application/
