Story
Ari (short for Safari) is a very playful 8 month old kitten who gets the zoomies and loves playing fetch with little wads of paper. We got her at 8 weeks old from the Allen County shelter. We already had a 14 yo cat and we have tried everything we can think of for the last 6 months, but they just do not get along. Now both kitties are showing signs of anxiety and it is clearly not healthy for either of them. This is a very tough decision for us to make, as this was our son's kitten that he picked out, named, and we have all bonded with her. We are looking for a home that perhaps doesn't have any other animals for her to be scared of. She loves to climb, snuggle, and attack legs. She tolerates baths and brushing and is good with kids and noise. She is not scared of the broom or sweeper and loves to play with strings and rolling things. We have trained her to stay off the kitchen counters and tables, but she loves sitting next to an open window. She will respond to her name.

I adopted Bella when she was 9 weeks old from Southside Animal Shelter. She is currently 10 months old. Bella ideally needs to go to a home where there are no small children as they scare her and the more you can be home the better because she loves to snuggle. We are rehoming her due to her anxiety around my 3 year old who is very chaotic and doesnt understand that cats dont like chaotic. Also due to my 10 year old being very scared of her. She has never harmed him its just a random fear. She is the sweetest though and loves all the cuddles. She would do best in a calm home no young children. She will come with her her metal litter box, the cabinet it sits in, her food and water bowl, cat tower, scratching post, and cat tower.

I first adopted Sen back in 2018, when she lived in my home for about 6 months. She ran away after slipping out the window one night, and I didnt hear from her again until October of 2025, when I got a call letting me know she had been brought in to a vets office for a chip check. I was very happy to be reunited with her after 7 years of her being missing. Despite my efforts, she is deeply fearful of my dog, which has lead me to look for a new home for her. She is incredibly sweet and affectionate, but would be much happier in a home without a dog.

Jerry said he cannot understand why he is looking for a new home because he did everything right. He is sweet, personable and a love muffin. We saved this young man in 2024 when he had a urinary blockage and was at an Emergency Clinic. He was transferred to rescue and adopted to a quiet home, no other pets, and they loved him. Unfortunately, they are moving to Florida and cannot take him. We had PU (perineal urethrostomy) surgery done to help eliminate further blockages. He does eat special food. He is such a great cat. He was picked on in his very first home by other cats which was stressful for him. This home was perfect with no other pets. He would probably do best in an only cat home. When Wybie gets comfortable with someone, he is very sweet and affectionate. He enjoys being around people he trusts and will often relax nearby or curl up in cozy spots. He likes to watch TV, take long naps, and just be part of the environment around him. Wybie enjoys being petted, especially belly rubs when he feels safe. He has a gentle, playful side and can also be a little adventurous, liking to explore his surroundings and check things out at his own pace. He is a loving, easygoing cat who bonds well once he feels secure. With patience and care, he really opens up and shows his affectionate personality.
